Which book is your favorite? My favorite is still the first book. I love the whole introduction to the series! Be sure to check out our polls and vote for your favorite there!

I think my fave is the one where Steph gets shot in the arm and Morelli rushes to her side and says that he loves her.
My fave has to be Four to Score....becasue after almost 3 and a half books finally the sexual tension gets to them and they're like two rabbits for the rest of the series
The first 6 books were the best in the series; from there it's hard to choose just one as each had something that made it special. One for the Money was suspenseful and I think JE's best writing. Two for the Dough was hysterical with all the visits to the funeral home and the scene where Joe is left curbside with nothing but his gun. Four to Score was HOT! And Hot Six has the sexy prologue and of course where Morelli first tells her he loves her. Books 3 and 5 were great too with all the zany Burg characters that make Plum soo much fun.
my fav? The one I'm reading at any given moment. :o) Counting down til 15 comes out. Write faster Janet.
I agree about the first 6 being the best in the series. I wonder if that is because everything is so new to the reader?
One of course was the most gripping for me but I am really, really enjoying number twelve right now. It has been so interesting. The whole plot line and everything that's going on really keeps your nose in this book, This is definately right at the top of my list.
Plum Spooky got me laughing harder than I have since in the single digits. An enthusiastic "Two Thumbs Up" for that between the numbers.
I think 12 is my favorite in the upper numbers. I have only read one between the number novels so far.
I agree the first 6 are the best. Although I have a sneaking fondness for the whole pig-heart exchange in Seven Up!
The second one (where they burn down the funeral home) is my favorite, I think because it's the funniest. It's always been my favorite. Though I know somewhere between 6-8 there were a lot of laugh out loud, tears in the eyes funny scenes.Which book is the one where the horse is in the elevator at Stephanie's apartment? My DH was sitting on the couch with me when I read that section and I couldn't stop laughing. I think he thought I'd finally snapped and I'd have to go to the loony bin, but it was just so hilarious!
I am rereading To The Nines this weekend. This is my favorite of the series and I need the chuckles. I love the bacon diet and Lula's thong being thrown to the Tom Jones imitator.
testing--sorry, been having probs with my groups in Goodreads, I got a post that they "thought" it was repaired, so this is my test to see if it is
I have to say that Ten Big Ones is my favorite so far. Ranger and Stephanie in his appartment. I couldn't wait to read it after I read the back. I read it in about 2-3 days.
lol, I love the "between the numbers" books, simply because Janet just lets her imagination go wild with those. I STILL want to go up and find the Jersey Devil. Anyone want to join the hunt?
My favorite has got to be Ten Big Ones. I love when Stephanie is "hiding out" in Ranger's apartment; yet he knows she is there the entire time :) Even though I love this book, I'm still a Morelli fan!
I know Ann: It can be a bit surprising. But let's put the blame squarely where it belongs, on Janet. If she would write faster, we would read and post faster. That's the thing I really dread about some series when I find them after the author has written a bunch of the books in the series. You read one, move to the next one, then the next, until all of a sudden you are waiting on the next one to hit the shelves. Bummer.
And I still like all the books at or before 6.
I'm glad I could revive the group! I am on number 11- I just started the series back in August. Once I got to 11 I sais to myself that I better start reading more slowly...and then I found the "in-between" books. Hope those are as good as the series.
Chelsey--the in-between books are where Janice just lets her hair down and goes crazy. Lol, they have some of the same cast of characters, but she includes a few "wild cards" in them. Like for instance Diesel--who claims to be able to um, well, get into things without having to use any lockpicks, keys etc. And then there's Sandy Claws. And a few other oddballs who are blessed with a few extra abilities.

I think that is a different one, where he is driving the school bus. Probably more like 8 or 9.
i actually love both Hot Six & Twelve Sharp -- i love all the chemistry & tension in 6, but i absolutely love Ranger's vulnerabilities being revealed in 12 & with Steph finally owning up to the fact that she actually loves both Morelli & Ranger equallyi also think that Morelli realized he's not the only king of her heart in 12 but decides to respect the dynamics of Steph/Ranger anyway
Having now read all of the books - I am very fond of Eighteen actually. Perhaps because Morelli and Ranger have a go at it - finally. That was long in the works.
I haven't read 18 yet--still waiting for it on my hold list--but so far my favorite (although I love them all) is "To the Nines" where they go to Vegas--I laughed until I cried!! For those of you who maybe haven't read it--no spoilers!!
Vira wrote: "Haha, I liked how they took out the rent-a-cop :)) To The Nines was very good."Yeah--that was good--I haven't read it for years--but what I remember was when they were in Vegas in a casino trying to create a diversion and Lula dropping all the chips and then having to lean over to pick them up--with everything falling out of her dress!!! LOL!!

Juleen wrote: "my favorite is the what ever one i am reading. i don't know that i could pick just one"I also live them all. I also love everything JE has ever written, including the very early screwball romances. She is so fun, if I am down all I have to do is re-read an JE book and my world is bright again. I just finished Visions of Sugar Plums and can now face the mall.
