This is where the queens can nurse their kits or queens that are waiting to nurse their own kits

Autumnblaze looked lovingly down at Shadowkit and leafkit. They were her only two and meant the world to her.

"Shadowkit" she mewed as she gently licked his fur "It is time to awake and great a new day"

"what?" he said tiredly

"It is time to wake up little one. It is a beautiful new day" Autumnblaze replied

now that Shadowkit was semi awake Autumnblaze turned her attention to Leafkit "Leafkit" she meowed "time to wake up"

"Don't you want to go out and play with your brother?" Autumnblaze asked

Autumnblaze chuckled at Leafkit's sudden enthusiasm

he was still lying there he was oddly tired he was usually very energetic. he yawned and stood up, he walked outside.

chuckling as she went Autumnblaze followed her kits into the clearing

Robinwing gently pawed Larkkit awake, mewing softly, "Time to wake up Larkkit! It's a bright, sunny day and you need to get out and play!" Larkkit groaned and turned over, she was not ready to go outside, she was too sleepy.

Goldenflower woke up tiredly.

Autumnblaze, leafkit, and shadowkit entered the nursery together. Once Autumnblaze settled herself in her nest she motioned to shadowkit and said "Come and lay down here with me sweety. Leafkit if you want you can find larkkit and play with her but no more rough housing tonight okay."

"very well" Autumnblaze said and once they were both lying next to her she gently licked both their heads.

Shadowkit figeted. He didn't want to sleep yet so he begged his mother, "Autumnblaze, can you tell me a story?"

"okay I know the perfect one" Autumnblaze said

"Once upon a time there was a kingdom called Volraga. The king and queen of Volraga were very kind and loved by everyone, but they were very sad. They longed to have a child of their own who would one day rule their kingdom. For many years they prayed and then happily a daughter was born. The king and queen were overjoyed and invited everyone for miles around to join them in a celebration of their daughter’s birth, even a young prince and his family from a neighboring kingdom.

The day of the party was a bustle of people running here and there to finish tasks so as to have everything done when the guests arrived. Then it was time, the guests had all arrived, and were anxiously waiting to have a glimpse of the little princess. One by one the guests walked up to the dais where the princess’ crib was placed and left small gifts for her. After the last guest had gazed upon the princess there was a great feast and dancing. It was a happy time for the kingdom, one that unfortunately would not last.

A year after the princess was born a malicious warlock attacked the castle. The king and queen were killed, but not before they sent their baby girl away with the king’s younger sister. The king made her promise to keep his daughter safe until the day she was old enough to return and reclaim their home. She promised that she would and taking only a few things she could carry fled into the forest with the baby."

"More, more!" Shadowkit begged his mother.

"Thats a good story." Goldenflower purred.

"Yes, it is!" Shadowkit agreed with Goldenflower.

((for the purposes of the roleplaying it can be cats but in the story I am writting on goodreads it is actually people. you should check it out there let me know what you think about the rest of what I have.))

"Glad you liked it" Autumnblaze purred in delight

(It sounds like a good story! But I don't have time now to read it)

Shadowkit looked up with pleading eyes and asked, "Mom, can me and Leafkit play outside?"

"PLease!", Shadowkit begged.

Their mother seemed lost in thoughts so Shadowkit whispered, "Leafkit, let's just sneak out!"

Shadowkit slowly followed his sister and soon they were outside.

noticing her kits had left the nursery while she was distracted Autumnblaze went out to find them.
