This is where the queens can nurse their own kits and queens can wait to nurse their own kits

Duskcloud pushed her way into the nursery, a squirrel in her yaws. She dropped it in front of her sister and meowed "Here, for you. I already ate outside."

Duskcloud watched her sister eat. Her kits were due every day now. She purred and meowed "I'll go outside and look for Flameheart." With these words she padded outside to go look for her mate.

Duskcloud dashed into the nursery and gasped as she saw Nightwing with three kits at her side. Her eyes widened and she asked worriedly, "Nightwing! Is everything alright?"

Duskcloud ran over to her and asked, "What did you name them?"

Runningstrike came into the nursery with a trush between his yaws. When he saw the kits his yaws opened and the trush fell onto the ground. "Nightwing!", he shrieked. He dashed over to her side and began to frantically lick her ears.

(Lol)

"So you don't even allow your mate to choose a name?" Duskcloud joked. "It's okay with me!" Runningstrike purred.

Goldtail pushed through the nursery entrance with Rainkit in her jaws and Stormkit jumping around behind her. When she saw Mistkit, Cinderkit and Willowkit, Goldtail put Rainkit down and mewed, "These are your new denmates, you two!"

Stormkit looked at Nightwing and the kits, and he stopped jumping around, his mouth gaping. "Well, about time. Rainkit can be boring sometimes," he purring jokingly, nugding Rainkit softly. He was much bigger than her, so he'd often tease her, but in a loving way.


Rainkit batted Stormkit's shoulder playfully and mewed, "Oh really?" Then, she pushed Stormkit over and gently but happily batted his pale gray muzzle. Remembering the new kits, Rainkit sat up and watched the small she-cats.

Goldtail purred as she directed her kits to their nest. "Get to sleep, you won't be able to play with them yet. They are just born," She said quietly to her kits.

Stormkit lowered his tail, and mewed, "When do we get to play with them?" He sat down in his nest with Rainkit, as Goldtail lay down.

Rainkit didn't say anything, just lay down beside her brother. She also wanted to play with the new kits, but she was close to becoming an apprentice, so she didn't want to act like a kit while she'd be training with her mentor.

"Okay, I will!", Duskcloud joked. She gently nugded him and added, "No, we'll name them together."

"No, the names are perfect!", Runningstrike murmured, looking proudly down at his kits. He licked the top of the head of every kit and purred. "They're wondeful!"

Goldtail purred, remember her kits when they were young. "Soon, Stormkit. Go to sleep, or you'll be complaining about being tired later," she told her kit.

Stormkit slumped down sadly. He wanted to play with the new kits right away.

Rainkit saw how disapointed her brother was. She looked at him and mewed, "Don't worry, they'll be so playful tomorrow! But if you don't sleep like Goldtail says, you'll be too tired, you won't be able to play with them!" Rainkit tackled Stormkit, batting his ears gently. Then she got up and licked Stormkit's shoulder, wiping a twig off of him.

Runningstrike pulled back and purred. "They're so beautiful.", he purred.

Runningstrike's eyes gleamed with happiness and he nuzzled his mate.

Duskcloud looked proudly down at the kits and whispered into Flameheart's ear, "That will be us in a few days."

Goldtail purred and slowly went into sleep.

Stormkit laid down and rested his head on his paws. But he didn't go too sleep, and wanted to play with the new kits.

Rainkit was laying next to her brother and fell into a sleep full of dreams chasing butterflies and catching prey.

Duskcloud purred. Then she turned to Goldtail and her kits. She saw that Stormkit was still awake and she asked him, "Stormkit, aren't you tired?"

Stormkit looked at Duskcloud and mewed, "A little. But I wanted to play with them." He pointed his tail towards the new kits.

Duskcloud smiled and meowed "Nightwing's right. You can't play with them until they're old enough."

(I don't know yet...)

(No, I'm not sure yet. I think she'll have her kit tomorrow)

Stormkit thought about what the queens said. "I guess you're right," he meted, then fell asleep with his mother and sister.

Duskcloud smiled when Stormkit went to sleep. "He sure his cute."

Duskcloud purred too and leaned at her mate.

Rainkit fidgeted in her sleep, dreaming about hunting.

Stormkit pawed at Rainkit to stop her fidgeting, but kept his eyes closed.

Eagelstar entered the nursery with Spottedblaze and CloverClaw entering behind him.
"I hear congratz are in order for you Nightwing." Eagelstar said
"your kits are beautiful Nightwing"Spottedblaze purred and smiled at the three kits"I remeber when you were that small CloverClaw"
"aww mom"CloverClaw said embaressed "I heard it was a slow birth sorry I was not hear when it took place but you and the kits look like you are doing fine"

Duskcloud was just about to greet Eaglestar, Spottedblaze and Cloverclaw when pain shook her like a cold wave. She screeched and fell down onto the ground.

Goldtail's head shot up when she heard Duskcloud's screech.

Stormkit jumped. "More kits!" He mewed, then realized Duskcloud's pain and lay down, head lowered. "Sorry," He squeeked, apologetically.

Rainkit opened her eyes and looked at Duskcloud's. She sensed The older cat's pain and shrank down, her tail wrapped around her paws and ears flattened.

Duskcloud panted and screeched again.

Runningstrike stared at her and adressed Cloverclaw. "Are her kits coming?"

Duskcloud panted and screeched again. Her fur rippled and a tortoiseshell she-cat with a white chest and paws slipped out.

(Oh, you're right! Sorry...)
