Big Sister Reads discussion

I hope that everyone enjoyed reading our first book, Half the Sky. If anyone has any final thoughts that they would like to share, please feel free to post them here. Otherwise, we look forward to discussing The Liars' Club with you throughout the month of April.

I just want to thank Big Sister for motivating me to read this book. It's something I've been meaning to read for a while, and I'm so glad I finally did.

I did't see it but I have heard about them. Horrible. I watched "Saving Face" the other day about women whose husbands threw acid on thier faces. Beautiful women disfigured forever in the space of a second. The men hardly ever get punished for it. It really made you feel like crying.
