You know when I was a little girl my mother would beat me, cause she was too afriad to talk things out! She would hit me with frying pans and wire hangers. She has even thrown glass at me! I am here for you, to help you guide you and make you feel okay! :) I may not know you, but I bet we are closer than you think! :)

thats called rough love not abuse my elder sister and me got hit by books, canes, and the occasional burning and never once said my mother was abusing me since mother didn't do anything to my younger brother he came out all disrespectful, easily angered, little prick who doesn't know anything of the fine art

Ahmed that is abuse! When people hit you with things other than the Palm of there hand, on your ass it is abuse! :( I am very sorry that that happend to you and I hope that it has stoped, mine all ended when I was taken away at eleven cause the school asked me why my leg was broken and I had a black eye and busted lip, I told them I feel and they did a home search to find out I did not have a bed and I had no food in the house... I understand that everyone has the issues and some are worse than others but you should know that I am here for you, and If you ever need me I will be just a message away! :)

please madam its not abuse for my case it might be for you, and i do apologize if i offended you, but in Kuwait and many part of the middle east it is legal to hit your child as a disciplinary action, and my mother never hit me without reason or good intention, and that's why i care about her since she is risking her life with to much worry over my future that i never called her my abuser but always say mother is hitting me because i either did something wrong or i should have done something.

Sorry i'm new here...but mine wasn't family abuse, I had a boyfriend named Scott and he kept wanting to...well you get the picture I refused and he slammed me into the hood of his car and beat me with the broken bumper near the garage...I had to fake so many stories about 'crashing on my longboard' because my face was so bruised it looked like I was covered in soot...I was too scared to tell anyone and he moved before I could get justice. But! If that is happening to you, you need to tell the authorities! Even if you're threatened

I think that you are a very strong Women Mckensie! I really apreciate you telling us! I want you to know that you did not deserve that. you deserve to have a man love and hold you not hit and try to .. rape you! He will be jugded and the only thing you can do right now hun, is to forgive and forget.. sounds hard, is hard! but it will make you feel a lot better! it wont be a one second thing, you will work on this for a while but you are a wonderful person, and what the boy (he doesnt even deserve the title of a man) did to you was take something precious from you, and that would be your trust! Here for you whenever you need me! Okay! I want you to know that he is suffering whereever he may be, and if he isnt he will be soon!

Thanks :) It honestly feels better telling people about it then keeping it a secret for so long...I'm actually now dating the first guy I told about all this and he protects me in every case and I finally feel safe...I did lose the ability to trust guys for a while, I didn't even know it until a guy friend brought it up...who didn't know the story...
