Poppystar walked out of her den" it looks like another great day for RiverClan" she exclaimed.

Leafwing was just beginning to wake up " what a fine sunny day it is" she said walking out of the warriors den.

Shiverpaw padded out of the Apprentices den.

"Hi Leafwing." Shiverpaw mewed when he saw the warrior emerge from the Warriors den.

Frostpaw padded out of the den, feeling rested. She glanced around for Leafwing, her mentor. She hopped excitedly and raced over to her. "Good morning!" She said sweetly.

"oh hi Shiverpaw" Leafwing replied " and I'll ask Poppystar if we can go on the dawn patrol Frostpaw"

"Have fun on the dawn patrol, if you do get to go." Shiverpaw mewed to Frostpaw.

"I want the following for dawn patrol: Gingerpelt,Leafwing, Torrentheart, and their apprentices." Poppystar meowed.

"Oh, great" Gingerpelt yawned.

"Come on Frostpaw let's go on dawn patrol" Leafwing said.

"Let's go soon and get it done with" Gingerpelt said.

"We'll go soon anyway" Leafwing said

iceleaf came out of the medicine cat den "ah that is better"he said with a sigh

" How about we remark the scent markers with Shadowclan " Leafwing suggested.

"I think that's a good idea" Gingerpelt agreed.

Frostpaw nodded, bouncing with excitment. "That sounds good!" She meowed.

"Come on then" Gingepelt growled

Fangpaw and Snowpaw padded out of their den. Fangpaw glanced around and padded over to the cluster of cats. Snowpaw stretched and followed. "Are you going somewhere?" Fangpaw asked.

Frostpaw smiled, stretching her back. "Can they come??" She asked Torrentheart.

"Would all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join me for a clan meeting!" Moonheart yells.

(The deputy's do it occansionally)

iceleaf came to the meeting

"nope" he said

"yeah" he said

"Thank you all. As you all know, leaf-bare has finally came, and several of our cats are already sick. One of them is our leader, poppystar. She has a very nasty case of greencough and it's likely she will loose a life unfortunately. Until poppystar is better, she has instructed me to be in charge. This does not mean i am taking her place, only filling in till she is well again. The reason ive called you here, is to appoint someone to help me while poppystar is ill. Torrentheart, will you help me in my time of need?"

Moonheart meows kindly.

Frostpaw shivered quietly. She thought about their leader, Poppystar, losing a life. She shook her head quietlt.

((Sorry!!! I keep forgetting she is an elder!))

Poppystar sat in her den caughing ferociously "frog dung" she cursed

((it's a RiverClan curse))

Snowpaw glanced at Frostpaw. "Its scary to think Poppystar will lose a life." She muttered.

Frostpaw turned toward the small snow-white she cat. "It is." Her head swiveled toward her den. "She's in there, and I wonder if the medicine cat is with her."

((What??))

"Thank you all for your understanding. I hope starclan will show our leader mercy, for our clans sake. You may all go now. I let you know when i've made my decsion." Moonheart mews, as she heads back to the rest of the clan.

Moonheart overhears, and walks over to goldenfrost.

"Im afraid it is not a rumor." She says sadly.

Poppystar wheezed "what a bad image I'm setting for the clan" she thought

Snowpaw looked at her paws. "Fine," She muttered, then padded off, looking for her brother.

iceleaf walked back to the medicine cat den.

Snowpaw bounded over to Iceleaf. "Hi, how is Poppystar?"

Moonheart heard poppystar, and became full of compassion for her leader.

"Oh poppystar! Don't talk like that! You are one of the best leaders riverclan has had in a long time. We will get through this my friend. Would you like some fresh kill?" Moonheart says kindly.

Frostpaw nodded, hearing Moonheart. "I'll get it!" She meowed, bounding over to the fresh-kill.

"I'm affraid not well I know she will lose a life but I'm not sure when" He said.

Snowpaw looked at her paws. "Oh." She said quietly. "Will it be her last life??"

"Oh no, of course not. It will be her 7th. Poppystar has many lives ahead of her. Do not worry. All will be well." Moonheart says politely.

Snowpaw smiled, then nodded. "Thank Starclan." She muttered.

"I need to arrange the dusk patrol. Would you like to come?" she asks snowpaw.

Snowpaw nodded enthusiasticly. "Of, course!"

"Great. Im going to get more cats. I'll be back in a moment. Stay here and I'll fetch you in a moment." Moonheart kindly licked snowpaw and hurried off.

"Can I come I need to gather some herbs" Iceleaf said.

"Of course, iceleaf." She replies.

"Okay lets get going" He said.

Iceleaf walked out of camp.

Snowpaw followed Iceleaf. "So," She said "What herbs do you need."

"Mainly poppy seed" He said walking more.
