What a wonderful idea! I'm really glad you started this group knowing that you are never slack in you job!
As for me, I'm not a librarian. I so far did not face the problem of not finding the books I read. I do want to thank all the Sri Lankan librarians who add those books difficult to find.

I am a Goodreads librarian and I've lost count of how many books I've manually added! Lol! Once I added this beautiful book about Buddha and Buddhism.

දිග ගමනක කෙටි සටහන් - An autobiography by N.T Karunatilake. Quite an enjoyable read.
Also, I wanted to ask my fellow librarians' opinion on this. I usually add the author's name in Sinhala if the book is in Sinhalese and author writes (mostly) in Sinhala.I wonder whether this is a good idea as it makes it hard for people to find author/book through search. On the other hand, it doesn't make sense to create a book/author entry in English if the book is in Sinhalese. Any thoughts?

I have always wondered about this even though I am not a librarian yet, hopefully soon. :) I think it's better to look for the convention followed for other foreign books and authors.

Btw, can you tell me the font type you use in Sinhala? Sometimes I have trouble adding sinhala books because I'm not sure which type to use.
