hmmm...ok, let's talk about what we're reading at the moment. I'm reading Harry Potter #5 for the gazillionth time, and also a book called The Long Walk, a non-fiction story about a group of people during WW2 who escape from a camp in Siberia and walk thousands of miles to India.

HArrry Potter #5, that one was the worst one ion the series, but still a great read. I'm reading One Second After, a book about a small town after an emp.
why do you think #5 was the worst? I mean, it's not the BEST, but I feel that the characters grow emotionally...the breakdown at the end is pretty realistic. ;)
It kind of droned on and on, but Sirius dying made me throw my book at my wall. Weasly is our king had me singing along. But, it was kind of depressing and the tone is very dark.
Well, yes, because after the end of the fourth book, he himself is kind of getting depressed, and no one believes him, and he has to deal with Umbridge, etc., and actually #5 and #6 are both a lot darker...I think you're supposed to get a feeling of corruption.
I agree with the comment about Sirius though. but you can sort of see why Rowling did that...

They shouldn't; it's a very well written book and it's essential to the series, and I actually like it. people just don't like that Sirius dies, and yes, it's a bit long, I guess.
