Yeah, it usually involves lyrics to songs, and ugh, it's so hard to explain.

oh..ok :) i do it with some sort of format like the ones we use for RPs but much larger..

I might actually try to explain, now that I think about it. Forgive the choppiness of it, as I haven't ever explained my ways of character formatting before.

Step 1
I pick a gender(female, male, hermaphrodite) and orientation(homosexual,heterosexual, bisexual, penasexual.
Step 2
In comes the song. Depending on the genre and story, the song will match it. Whether it be sad or happy, regret filled or joyous, I use it for the character.
Step 3
I think of ethnicity. Doesn't matter where I have this set. If it's a fantasy with fantasy creatures and races, I pick one of those depending on my mood.

lol It was complicated for me the first five times, but then I got used to it. I had been given the idea of that from a cousin, who also writes.

:) So i started your first story and i like the idea of using Greek mythology..using Medusa..

Oh, thank you :D It was an idea that suddenly hit me after reading this Japanese comic with this character who's a descendant of Medusa.

I love this format. It does help in a way. Making your character more beleivable. I used that character format in a story me and MK are writing. :)
