Derek opened his eyes to see the hot sun blazing down on him. He sat up slowly and grunted, feeling pain all over his body. He looked around to see miles and miles of dirt. The sky was blue and the area smelled as if it had just rained. Derek stood slowly and looked around to see that he had an odd blue and silver suit on his body. He walked for miles til he found a little shop that said "Bucks Shop" he told the man he didnt remember anything and the man called the police.

2 months later, Derkek was in high school, getting the hang of techonology, things call phones and computers. He was starting to understand things and....fit in.

Eliza walked into the high school, she figured it was as good a place as any to start her search for the chosen one, plus it wouldn't be too hard to blend in. She shoved her stuff in her locker and began to walk towards class.

Derek walked with his group of friends that were mostly from the football team. The first week he was asked to try out for football and he had a pretty good arm and strengh, and it was hard for people to tackle him. Most of the guys were walking backwards when they bumped into someone

Eliza stumbed when someone bumped into her and fell over, sprawled out on the floor. She cursed quietly and began to pick herself up.

Most the guys laughed and walked on. Derek looked around and then down at the girl, holding his hand out for her. "Are you alright?"

Eliza looked up at the boy uncertainly, "I'm fine." she replied cooly, taking his hand.

Derek helped her up, like she weighed nothing. He picked up her book and handed it to her not saying anything

Eliza looked Into his grey green eyes and found herself unable to look away. What was wrong with her? She was usually immune to human charms. She mentally shook herself and glanced down, "uh, thanks." she said, looking at her feet.

Derek nodded and then stood there, he was still new to the talking thing and when you are on the football team, you dont really have to.

"I'm Eliza." she told him. Then she looked down to see that he still had a hold of her hand.
