This is a nicely done story about shifting views. It ties in my mind to what my minister talked this past week. His term was your "reality map." I don't know if this is a common term or not, but I thought it applied here to Miss Campbell.

It starts with a beautiful quote by Mary Shelley too. I am not familiar with her work, but I like this "thawed the frozen stream."
