History: Shane was supposed to be a boy. That’s how the story always starts when it comes to her name. Everyone always thought she was going to be born a boy, but her parents got a surprise when she came out missing a bit of hardware. Her parents were just thrilled that she was born healthy, but the name just sort of stuck. Shane grew up in NYC with her parents, older brother, and two younger twin sisters. They lived a really good life, her father being the CEO of some big company and her mother the Headmistress at a prestigious private school.
