((I have no clue what this is so I'm just going to pretend like I do))

Raelince walked in with a small smile on her face. With nothing else to do, this seemed like a decent option. She was dressed in a white t-shirt, black skinny jeans, purple hightops, and purple suspenders. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail with a purple bow.

Bruno walked in, sandy from the beach. He looked depressed without Kendall. He took a seat by a window, looking out on the street. He wasnt particularly hungry, he just didnt have anywhere else to go

Raelince spotted a boy, alone in the corner. She thought that he looked kind of depressed. She ignored the lady in front and walked over to the kid,"Hi! You okay? You don't look a whole lot like it!" Her smile was hard to ingore.

Bruno looked up, shocked by this...girl. He was confused that she actually cared enough to ask. "The truth? Im anything but okay..."

((dude... random thought... but one of the kids in my class is a total nerd, but he's hilarious. He wore suspenders on Friday.. it was funny, because our computer teacher complimented him on it. He was like,"Nice suspenders Austin." And Austin bobeed his head and said ,"Thanks."))

Raelince smiled at him,"Why? If you'll tell me I'll listen. I know I don't know you very well, but I'd like to help."

Bruno looked to the chair adjacent his. "You wanna sit, then?"

(9sorry for leaving. I needed food))

"Sure," she replied and sat in the chair that he was looking at.

He passed her his menu, for he really wasnt hungry. "Can I....Can I get your name first?"

She set the menu on the table. She held out her hand and with a beaming smile, she said,"I'm Raelince! But you may call me Ray if you would like."

He took her hand daintily and shook. "I'm Bruno. Nice to meet you"

((I gotta go, I'll be on in two hours or so though, lovies))

Raelince smiled at him,"Lovely to meet you as well."

He blushed. She was pretty, yes, he had to admit that

She smiled at him, pretending not to see the red color in his cheeks. "So what happened?" she asked.

((Me too! Guess what! You are speaking to a now official SlytheriN! No longer do I have to pretend I am one. I AMMMMM! What did you get sorted as?))

"Uh..." Bruno mumbled, shaking his hair to the side. "How to begin?"

((I'm a Ravenclaw.. I have no idea what any of them are... except ravenclaw is smart....and I'm not smart))

She smiled gently,"Start with the morning."

((You are, too! > . < C'mon!))

"Well...Nothing seemed to be wrong with today, when I met up with my best friend, Kendall. We...We always hang out, you know? He's my only friend..." He grew quiet, embarrassed of the truth.

((XD Maybe, maybe not. You may never know just kidding))

"So? I don't have any," she replied with a twinkle in her eyes.

Bruno nodded. "Well...he met this...guy...wait, im getting ahead of myself. We planned to spend the whole day at the beach, just him and I..."

"Continue," she said with a soft twinkle in her eyes.

"And, we went. And I was excited the whole entire time. I...I had family issues, and he always make me forget those things...but then he met this...guy...." He looked down darkly

She put her hand on his with a gentle look. "Hey Bruno? Did you like him? Like... as you would get down and propose to him if you could? Or just give hima kiss?" she asked. Realince looked completely innocent. She looked exactly like a good friend would, asking her friend what he/she needed.

"Oh, no!" He said, furiously shaking his arms. Him and Kendall? Like that? Hell, no. "No, I'm straight. Really"

She smiled and giggled,"Alright... then what's the problem? Are you jealous that he's spending more time with this guy then you?"

"im jealous because he just ditched me for a guy he hardly knows! It hurts like hell!" He said, voice growing shrill as he slammed his fist against the table

"Woah! Calm down," she said, placing both of her hands on his fists. "It's okay, alright? Maybe you need to sit down and talk to him. It might help, it might not."

"If I told him, I would DIE!" He said, groaning and smacking his palm to his face. "You dont understand! How do I tell him something that...self centered like that? He'll think that im all into myself"

Raelince watched him yell at himself. She smirked a little,"You aren't. You don't have that kind of vibe."

"I...I want to, I just cant." He said, quietly. He looked down at the table clothes and wanted to cry. It was the same pattern as the blanket he and Kendall had used on the beach. "And...he never told me he liked boys..."

"Hey..." she said softly. She picked up his hands and faced him,"Look at me, Bruno."

He did as he was told, looking her straight in the eye

"Look... sometimes... it's hard for a person that loves someone so much to tell them everything about themselves. Like I don't go around announcing to the world that I'm bisexual. Maybe... your friend was afraid to tell you, afraid of what you might think. Maybe he thought that you would diss him, just because he liked guys. Or maybe he thought he would hurt you and was afraid that he would do just that. So, honey, it's not you... it's his fears. It isn't going to kill you to sit down and talk to him, to straighten everything out. I swear upon it," she told him.

((Honey, I've gotta go to bed. I shouldn't be staying up this late. I love you. Ich liebe dich. I'll talk to you tomorrow, love. ;) Sweet dreams, Mattie.))

Bruno knew she was right, but he couldnt bring himself to act upon his feelings. "I...You're right...He's my best friend, after all"

((G'night, David. I...I know. I wont sleep well...I know that much. Je t'aime. ))

((*sighs* Cheer up bluebell.))

"Exactly, he's your best friend and you shouldn't be afraid to talk to him," she said.

Bruno nodded and relaxed. No way in hell was he going to go flaunt his feelings and take her advice. It just wasnt in him. "He didnt even tell me where he was going! Just up and left! I...not even a 'Call me later, 'kay?'! It's...It feels wrong..."

"I don't have your phone number, so how could I call you?" she asked with a teasing smile.

Bruno had to laugh. Ray was making him think of other things, which he was grateful for

Raelince smiled,"Seriously, what's your phone number?"

((Kk!))

He pulled out a pen and tore off a piece of his paper napkin, sliding his number over to her. "There"

((she's being a spaz. lol))

She smiled and snapped her suspenders over the number. "Thanks," she said with a soft laugh.

Bruno smiled and nodded. "Anytime, anytime." He felt his stomach rumble,but he was afraid of eating in front of girls for some odd reason. "So, uh....Rae..."

Raelince laughed softly when she heard his stomach rumble,"Are you hungry? You can eat you know. I'm not going to stop you." Her bright eyes twinkled playfully.

He looked down at the menu as if it was tainted.

A waiter came and asked for drinks.

Bruno looked down and blushed, telling him in a meek voice "C-coke, please." He hoped he didn't appear...lame in front of Rae. She was pretty, yes, but not his type. Still, bi or not, she was a girl just the same, and that made him nervous

"I'll take a coke as well, if you please," she said with a smile.

The waiter went off to place the order, and Bruno hurridly looked voer the menu, picking something random to order

Raelince picked out something and sighed. "Bruno? I know this might be a stupid quiestion, but am I your friend? Or can I be?"

"I..." How was he supposed to respond to that? He wanted her to be, oh yes. But he didn't want to seem like a prat, over eager. "I'd like you to be one, yes..."

She let out a soft sigh,"Thank God..." She took off her glasses for a few moments,"Just in case... I'm a little crazy... so... yeah."
