Promise walked in with Jamie, motioning to the waitress for a table for two.

Jamie wanted to hold his hand, but he thought it would be weird and awkward. He followed Promise when the waitress lead them to a table.

Promise let Jamie where he wanted to sit, making sure he was comfortable.

Jamie slid into one of the seats and looked up at Promise. "Are you going to stand there or sit as well?" he joked.

Promsie blushed and took the seat across from him. "Sorry 'bout that. I got...distracted..." That was the truth; he had been looking at Jamie's butt...

((*cracks up laughing*))


Jamie giggled softly and looked over at Promise.

((What? What did I do?))

Promise smiled at him all geeky and lame, then opened the menu. "Dude...I'm so fricken starved..."

((That whole post I just started laughing))


Jamie smiled,"I'm hungry, but I don't think I'm starved."

((Oh, lol!))

Promsie picked something at random, and sighed, leaning back in his chair. "That's okay, then. Just...don't make fun of me if I like, gorge myself..."

((that was the truth... O.o ))


"I won't I promise," he replied, his eyes twinkling. He decided on a sandwich of some type.

The waitress came back and took their order, and Promsie was left with Jamie, just staring at him. "So...Let's talk..." He smiled deviously.

Jamie blushed lightly,"What's with the grin? It's kinda freaky and sexy at the same time..."

"Sexy?" He tried to act as if this made him uncomfortable, but, in all actuality, it made him feel lightheaded.

Jamie blushed and stuttered immediately,"I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry! It's just stating a fact! I'm sorry!"

"Don't worry 'bout it, Stud." He said, smiling. "I'll just take it as a compliment, nothing more."

Jamie looked at his hands, not knowing how to continue.

((I gotta go! Sleep well! I feel like crap because all my energy went POOF! So I'll talk to you tomorrow! I'll be home alone so I have free reign of the computer XD Ich liebe dich kienes Italien! <3))

now, it was time for some lying. "I have a girlfriend, you know..." He said, looking down at the napkim he hadn't put in his lap. "We've going steady for...a while. We don't live together or anything; not yet. She's blonde and like, a total babe...really good in bed, too..." God, he just kept on getting worse. He was in fact, still a virgin. He had never had a girlfriend (or a boyfriend). Hell, he didnt know the first thing about relationships. All he knew was that he fancied Jamie, and lying was the only way to hide it. "She always tells me how lucky she was to have found me...She says there are not nearly enough straight men in this city, imagine that! But, its like a gay man's playground, I suppose. San Francisco..." He took a long sip of his drink

The general pink in his cheeks reappeared in a hurry. "T..." he stuttered. He felt completely offended and bit his lip to keep from crying. "M-Maybe.. I should go?" he whispered.

((I know, I thought i'd add some drama))

"Hell no!" He said hurridly. Now he felt bad for making such a lie, but he couldnt go back now. "Please don't! Remember? We're trying to become best friends? I didn't mean to offend you, I was just...stating...My whole point of bringing that up was so I could hear about your boyfriends..."

((XD I know, but dude that hurt >.<))

Jamie ran his hand through his hair and let out a shakey sigh. "Alright... I'm sorry... I take things too... literally at times..." he admitted.

Promise reached over the table and grabbed his hands. "Jamie. Please. I need to know..." so I know what you're attracted to... he hoped he didnt sound desperate

Jamie started to tear up and sniffled. "I don't... want to talk about him.. It hurts too much..." he burst into tears.

Promise winced and dropped his hands. "I'm an asshole...I'm sorry." All he wanted was to know so he could make himself better for him, when he was ready to admit his feelings. "You dont have to say anything."

((yes my dear?))

"You... aren't... asshole.... I'm just a big baby!" he sobbed.

((Im gonna be on and off a lot, but ill tryto get on later. Olease wait up for me!))

Promise got up from his seat and walked over to Jamie. "Shhh. No you're not. Relax." He knelt dow. And hugged him gently

((That's alright. I kinda have to disappear occasionally as well.... but I can't be on past midnight eastern time, love. I do need to sleep ;D I have to go call the kennel... so ill be right back))


Jamie sat in his arms and calmed down. "I-I'm sorry," he managed to choke out.

((What is 9 o clock here to you?))

"Jamie, love...."he said, rubbing his back. "Do NOT apologize! Its okay"

((I dunno because I don't know what your time zone is! Otherwise I could figure it out fairly quickly))


Jamie blushed at the simple word after his name. "F-Fine," he managed to say. He closed his eyes for a moment. "Let's just say that... he was a lot like yourself, except.. he was really selfish."

((Im on west coast, love. CA))

So, i'm not? "Alot like me?" He said, cocking his head. His arms tightened around him

((*facepalm* sorry I forgot. you guys are.. two hours behind us so.... It'll be 11pm if you get on at 9pm... and Im sorry for being slow, people keep calling me!!!!!))

"Yeah.." he muttered quietly. "He wanted me to.. do things that I wasn't ready for.."

((I might get on sooner. Depends on how late dinner os.))

This broke his heart. "And...did he...make you?" He looked like he was about to cry, as well.

((I ate ... an hour ago. I'm still not hungry. I barely ate anything XD My family doesn't eat dinner together during sport seasons. We have totally whacko schedules))


Jamie sniffled and burried his face in his chest. He didn't want to start bawling again. He just gave him a simple nod in response.

Promise broke, feeling hot tears roll down his cheeks. He had always been a silent crier. "Lets...Lets go somewhere less...public. I got money for a cab, lets go hit the beach or something..." he slapped money down on the table, even though they hadnt eaten a bite

((AND OMG >.< I'm going to shoot two of my friends! LARG!))


Jamie nodded quietly, still holding onto Promise a little more than he should be. "What... about your home?" he asked.

((ahhh! Sorry!))

"My..." He could see a lot of problems with going home. "If you...want..."

((They have this new.. "predicted pairing" of the future. And Omg I thought that I was going to strangle them. They are now obsessed and pester me every minute of the day, because they claim "it's totally amazical!))

"We don't have to..." he replied quietly.

"I...I dont want you to see my shitty apartment..." He blushed.

((AND OMG! I thought of a pairing to substitute italy ;D))


Jamie giggled,"I'm sure it's not shitty."

((Lol! Nice!

My battery is gonna die so imma brb))

"Oh, it is. C'mon. Cable car ride down to Ghiradelli, then we can go to this vacant spot I know on the beach?"

((Magnus and Alec!!!!!! O.o Yeah I have to like disappear a lot right now anyways))

"I'd love that!" he said in a fakely cheerful voice.

((ANND CRAP! I misplaced my time zones. Your three hours behind my part of Indy.))

Promise caught that, and sighed. "then, come with me."

((And goodreads is being really annoying! the system keeps shutting down and shutting off my internet! rawr. and Yes! You are Alec ;) and I am Magnus! ;)))

Jamie sat up and waited for Promise to stand before he got out.

((YAY! I am so Alec, you're right! >.< How do we say goodbye, though? Would mine be:

Promise stood and took his hand, leading him out of the restaurant to...the 2nd beach!
