Audrey (audreyjb) ((She's done what she can with her bedroom, using her stuff from home (so it's nice because her parents bought it :P)

Living room:

And the kitchen & bathroom are super small, so I don't feel that I need to put a picture for those!

Sorry if it's nicer than it should be (which I know it is)... I have no excuse for that. I don't know. Try to make me change it and die.))

Audrey (audreyjb) Sloane opened the door to her apartment, whistling. She waltzed into the kitchen and put the Japanese candies in a cabinet.

She paused, remembering the blonde girl from the store. "She saw right through my hipster act," she muttered, shutting the cabinet and squeezing through the living room to her bedroom.

She opened her dresser drawer. It was brimming with "hipster" accessories that were, in Sloane's opinion, god-awful ugly. When she'd bought them, she'd been thinking, "anything to stay in with the music crowd." If Sloane lost her standing in the music crowd, the hipsters and the trendsetters and the struggling poets and the angsty musicians and the starving artists, she'd lose her in to all the gigs in San Francisco at small, dimly lit clubs.

With a snort, Sloane grabbed a handful of the stupid "hipster glasses" ((you know what I'm talking about)) and tossed them out the window, onto the sidewalk, where the next kid to walk by could pick them up and become the hipster they'd always wanted to be.

She walked over to her music rack - stuffed with awful CDs from the next big angsty act - and grabbed the first CD case. She smiled when she saw the familiar CD. If any visiting hipster "friend" were to actually open the CD case, he or she wouldn't see the Hooting Owls' latest "hit," but instead they would see a Justin Bieber CD. Owning anything remotely related to Justin Bieber was like poison in the hipster music world.

With a smile, Sloane walked over to her CD player and popped it open. Soon enough, she was blasting the Bieb's voice and softly singing along. "What can I say?" she muttered, staring out the window at the pile of glasses on the sidewalk. "I've always had a weakness for the kid."

Audrey (audreyjb) ~Morning~

"Well, sh!t," Sloane muttered, her headache worsening at the pounding of music above her. She'd barely woken up five minutes ago and a headache immediately jolted her brain, sending any coherent thoughts about what to do for the day far, far away.

Sloane was never the type to complain, so instead she stood on her bed and hit the floor as hard as she could. "HEY! HEY, COULD YOU TURN IT DOWN A LITTLE?" she screamed, hoping that the person above could hear her through the floor and the music.

message 7: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) The music simply turned up a little louder at Sloane's request, and she rolled her eyes, grabbing her crappy pair of ear plugs off her dresser and stuffing them in her ears.

Finally it became too much and Sloane took out her ear plugs. "Enough is enough," she muttered, and was about to storm upstairs when she realized that the song that was blasting was actually sort of catchy. After a few more bars of the song, it ended. With a small smirk on her face, Sloane raced over to her junk closet and grabbed her old grade school trombone. After trying a few finger movements, she shrugged and began wailing away on it, still trying to figure out how to work the thing as she actually played it.

Vixen | 396 comments Domino walked down the hall with a smile on her face. She was wearing a black bra and black panties. She had small breasts but she didn't care, she worked them and she still looked good. Especially the way the black complimented her fair skin and blond short hair. She had her black eyeliner, eye shadow, and mascara on from the night before so it was now smudged into racoon eyes. On anyone else, it would look stupid. But on her, she knew, it looked sexy and hot and badass. Because she was a real tough chick. And it's not about what you do or what you say but all about how you do it or say it. Most of the times she didnt have to back it up, but she could if she wanted to. Finally, reaching the door where the horrible player was on the other side, she stood in front of it, cigarette in one hand and switch in the other. Suddenly she was assaulted with memories of her first raid, with Choco. She remembered the feeling all too well. Closing her eyes she welcomed it back. It all came down to fate. I could feel the blood coursing through my veins. Shotgun in hand, there was nothing more intoxicating, not even drugs, than actually kicking down a door and wondering if there was heavy firepower on the other side. What a rush. Opening her eyes, she smiled a seductive smile. Bra and panties, switch in hand, cigarette in mouth, she kicked open the door. The screeching stopped. Domino threw her knife into the floor right by a pair of shoes and yelled "Stop the bloody music now!" As she looked up to see who occupied said shoes, she once again, made eye contact with the blue haired girl...

message 11: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) Sloane took a step away from the knife, her eyebrows raised in surprise. "So you're the one with the f*cking loud music. At least it stopped." She tossed her trombone on the couch and sat down on the couch. Most people would probably be worried at this point, but Sloane had grown up in New York City and was used to violence. And although it was obvious that the blonde girl wasn't afraid to hurt someone, she felt calm in situations where harm could possibly come to her and chose to think logically instead of panicking. "Sit down, if you want," she said, gesturing to a chair beside the couch.

message 12: by Vixen (new)

Vixen | 396 comments Blue-haired chick again. She smiled as she remembered the contents of last night's dreams. Domino stood in the doorway, taking in her surroundings. Not exactly 90210 but the girl is certainly well off. Crossing her ams and leaning against the door frame still vastly underdressed, she took a drag from her cigarette and formed an 'O' with her red lips, blowing out little circles. Smirking, she said, "So, did Daddy buy that awful trombone for you as well to go along with everything else he bought you in this apartment of yours? Mmmm, daddy's little girl." She purred, ignoring her invite. Domino didn't take orders, suggestions, or even offers kindly, only doing what she felt when she felt like it.

message 13: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) "The trombone's from when I was twelve," Sloane said, jerking a thumb towards the instrument, "and the furniture is from, believe it or not, a fairly successful music career. Not playing the trombone, of course."

message 14: by Vixen (last edited Apr 12, 2012 12:53AM) (new)

Vixen | 396 comments band? Interesting... Walking in, she grabbed the chair the chick had offered her and brought it over directly in front of the girl on the couch. She turned the chair around and sat on it backwards so that she was now straddling it, facing the couch. She leaned down and grabbed the knife sticking out of the floor, coming back up to rest both hands over the back of the chair, twirling said knife around. "Clearly not the trombone. What do you play?"

message 15: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) "Guitar, bass, drums, keyboard." Sloane lifted a shoulder and crossed her legs. "The classic band instruments. Although karaoke night is the extent of my vocals." She yawned hugely, then got up and squeezed her way through the furniture into the kitchen. "God, I need caffeine... coffee?" she asked the girl, holding up a mug.

message 16: by Vixen (new)

Vixen | 396 comments "Domino." Was her answer.

message 17: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) "...domino?" To Sloane, the name was just a word. She furrowed her eyebrows. "Uh... like the game? I only know how to set them up and knock them down, I don't know how to play the game," she said, turning back to her coffee and dumping some milk into it.

message 18: by Vixen (new)

Vixen | 396 comments "My name," She said, slowly and precisely as if she were talking to a child, "Is Domino. Just Domino." She finished in her british accent. Smirking now, she said, "I'll do just about anything with strangers, but I won't drink coffee with them." With that, she cocked an eyebrow, then got up from the chair and sprawled out rudely on the couch, lying on her back with her hands behind her head, one knee bent. Again, she didn't take notice or care that she was still in her bra and panties.

message 19: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) Sloane stared at the girl, "Domino," for a second, then shook her head and pressed her lips together. She could withstand a lot, but one thing that really pissed her off was when people were rude to her.

"My name is Sloane. Feel free to make yourself at home," she said sarcastically, knowing that Domino would probably respond with a snappy retort. She prepared herself for a war of words.

message 20: by Vixen (new)

Vixen | 396 comments "4 spoons of sugar and lots of milk, please." Like the game... Domino was no longer paying attention to Sloane, lost in thought over what she had said. Yes, like the game. Because there is only one conclusion to every story, every life: We all fall down. Like Dominoes. She sighed. "You know, I was thinking about your tattoo last night. Dreaming about it would be more accurate. You see, I knew it would be somewhere nasty" She said pronouncing the word as 'Nawstee'. "I was picturing something very delicate, like a rose, or a hummingbird. But the hello kitty is much cuter. Does he know about it?" She asked with a knowing smile in her voice.

message 21: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) "Oh, so now she changes her mind," Sloane muttered under her breath, pulling a second mug out of a cabinet. She paused when she realized that Domino had spoken to her. "He who?"

message 22: by Vixen (new)

Vixen | 396 comments "Your father. Your mother. Anyone who thinks the real you wouldn't do what you did." Domino stated plainly and nonchalantly. She's seen the type.

message 23: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) "God, there is so much you don't know about me. You do realize that running into someone at a Japanese general store and then again in an apartment building doesn't exactly add up to a close and personal relationship, right?" Sloane said humorlessly, setting Domino's mug down on the coffee table and sitting down in the armchair.

message 24: by Vixen (last edited Apr 14, 2012 12:49AM) (new)

Vixen | 396 comments Sitting up, she swung her legs down from the couch. "I never get close and personal. I never invest too much emotion into one thing." Taking a sip from her coffee, Domino smiled. "So they do know then?"

message 25: by Audrey (last edited Apr 14, 2012 02:38PM) (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) ((I'm really sorry for just randomly leaving! My internet died so there was no way to say anything about why I suddenly left...))
Sloane took a long sip from her coffee and stared off at some point in the distance, spaced out for a moment. Then she looked back at Domino and said, "Actually, I guess you could say they don't know."

message 26: by Vixen (new)

Vixen | 396 comments Domino squinted her eyes in suspicion when she saw Sloane get a far off look on her face. Putting her mug of coffee down a little too hard on the table, she couldn't help what she was about to ask next. "Because you haven't told them or because they're dead?"

message 27: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) Sloane actually cracked a smile. "You're quite good at reading people." She sipped her coffee again. "It's the latter, if you must know." It wasn't too hard for her to talk about, but it hadn't been long ago when they'd passed and she preferred to simply push her sad feelings to the side and try to forget about the fact that they were dead. About the fact that she would never see them again. About the fact that she didn't make it to the hospital before they died.

message 28: by Vixen (new)

Vixen | 396 comments Domino was playing with her knife while Sloane talked. When she confirmed her suspicion, she automatically tightened her hold on the knife and blood immediately started flowing from her hand. She barely even noticed. This was one topic she did not want to touch, so she wouldn't. "I'm a bounty hunter." She said by way of changing the subject. "A couple years ago I took this seminar to become one, turns out it was just a scam for the real bounty hunters to get people's money. During a break in the presentation, they were about to ditch the place but I jumped in front of their car and threw this knife through their windshield. I was hired on the spot." She smirked at the memory. "That was when I met Choco." She didn't know why she was telling this girl all of that, but she didn't care. She just wanted the subject changed.

message 29: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) Sloane nodded like she knew who Choco was. She sure as hell wasn't about to ask and get some vague answer. "Bounty hunter. Who're you hunting that brought you here?" She cracked a half-smile. "Or wait, you probably can't tell me, can you?"

message 30: by Vixen (last edited Apr 17, 2012 01:13PM) (new)

Vixen | 396 comments "Or I'd have to kill you, right? Well, that would be a waste." She winked. "Sometimes in not a who but a what. My job is to kick ass and secure the bounty, but it's not always a person. Could be money among other things." She shrugged not really wanting to talk about work. "Don't worry, love, i'm not on the job in this city." She took out her signature coin from the inside of her bra and flipped it in the air, watching it with a smile on her face. Heads, you live. Tails... She caught it and slammed it on the back of her other hand. Looking at it, she smiled. ...You die. She got up from the couch, "Come on," She said as she walked to the girl's door and opened it. Looking back at Sloane she said, "I want to have a little fun." With that, she walked out the door into the hallway, knowing that if Sloan was the type to rise to any challenge, she would follow

message 31: by Audrey (new)

Audrey (audreyjb) "You maybe wanna get dressed first?" Sloane asked, closing and locking the door behind her. She wouldn't put it past Domino to waltz out in public in only her underwear, but that wasn't (exactly) the reason why she said what she did. "It's cold outside today." She gestured out the window on the side of the building, where you could see that it was raining.

((sorry if that sucked. I'm tired))

message 32: by Vixen (last edited Apr 18, 2012 12:27AM) (new)

Vixen | 396 comments When Domino heard the door lock behind her, she whipped around fast and put both arms on either side of Sloane, backing the girl up against her door. She was otherwise trapped between Domino's arms. Leaning in, she whispered against her lips, just touching but not quite kissing, "You know, I've never been very good at putting clothes on. Besides," She moved her lips to Sloane's ear and whispered, "Don't you like what you see?" She drew back, pursing her lips and gave an air kiss to her, before turning around and walking down the hall. Domino supposed she was right, she didn't exactly feel like making a scene today anyway. She looked over her shoulder, "Come on, I'm on top of you." She started walking up the stairs, chuckling. Yes, I will be very soon.

Audrey (audreyjb) My god, the woman is a tease, Sloane thought, shrugging and following Domino down the stairs. She'd already learned to expect the unexpected when it came to Domino. Rule of life #1: Never trust a tease.
