A huge, long room that the Princesses eat at.

'We left as inmates from an asylum' was not the way this should begin or in all honesty, should end.
You had to be proud, Ly thought, gazing out to the grounds with her fingers clasping the crimson, nose bleed curtains, you were one of a kind in a world of spite. The ability to make small talk that wasn't condescending? What an amazing gift you princesses had.
Ly could see that with the sun, the whole world did not circle her dark ora. There was chances of being happy out there. Yet the sun refused to shine on her. The sun did not suit her, so be done with the topic, she gritted.
Back in her homeland, the peoples arms were heavy but their bellies were tight. The home front was long left unbloodied. This Princess feared it wouldn't stay like so for long.
"Sovereign, miss," a servant tapped the young lady on the shoulder with a in doubt passing through her mind, "your ripping the curtains and dinner is ready, your highness."
Ly gazed with raised eyebrows at her two inch nails.
"Indeed," she said shortly before letting the snake of material go.
"I apologize, it was just nerve racking for the seamstress, your highness," the servant bowed deeply.
"No need to pontiffy me," Ly said in a low, head tilted tone, "now about this dinner..."
"Ah-ah yes," she squeaked, "Foie gras a la cordon bleu," she rushed looking a bit jittery under this silken girls direct gaze. She was terrifying.
"Damned French food," Ly mumbled.
The summer day blew breezes so soft each petal and blade shown as they flickered in harmless dance. The lawn grazed tumbling hills, perfect for those on earth most innocent at heart. The 'not humans'.The fluff of pale clouds contrasted with the inner night-lights of the great Dinning Room. Here chandeliers provided dim, sparse light from equally flickering candles. Canals of wax dropping on pots of shimmering diamonds right over the roasted birds.
The centrepiece peacock was not on its own in the middle of this divine mahogany table. Stuffing and feast was everywhere to be found. Fruits in great mounds freshened the room with scents of what was to lay in their juicy entries.
Ly picked apart a scarce piece of tofu from her salad bowl, dropping it into a towel on her lap and rolling it to dehydrate it from the sauce it was propertied.
"There must be others coming."
Vanessa came in gracefully. Her white dress swished and shined perfectly in the light of chandeliar. Her heels stepping on the floor broke the silence. As she reached her chair, she sat down and looked for everybody else.
Ly extended a hand of welcome, her fingers like claws from the cheshire cat. Unearthly. "Kallimera Venessa."
A young servent, that went by the name of Volk, was looking for a young princes, who needed a servent.
She didn't answer in Greek? How rude."This place does not feel right," Ly persisted to say, "Volk," she said with fake sweetness, "would you go to my room and bring me back my pipe?"
Volk lbinked and bowed, "Yes Ma'ma" she did so and came back, caring the pipe in both hands, being extra carful.
Volk waited pationtly(sp) for Ly to take the pipe she had so kindly, in her ears, requested.
Ly took it with politeness that was only skin deep. She looked so congenial from the outside looking in. He silk sleeves nipped the table as she dragged the opium pipe to her full lips. Pursing them."Princess Sunly," she said in a hazy voice, "I forgot which country you're coming from," for such a young girl, her skin had a greyish tinge from all the years of smoke.
Volk bowed, walking backward into a corner and wiated for her next order. (g2g, got to do dishes, be back on in 15 minutes)
"I know," she said, her lips curving somewhat into what could be a smirk but buried under compassion that was of course, an uncertain presence, "I addressed you by name, didn't I?" She played her card, taking a drag from the wretched thing.
"And I also asked you a question... but no need to answer. Je souvien que vous êtes une princesse française." She spoke French cleanly. France invaded her country for too long for her to not be able to speak it.
Volk waited silently, watching and waiting, for a flick of the hand, the call of her name.
Ly murmured a short prayer before beginning to eat in this slow going and overly undramatized super. How come the French Princess had the right to ignore her like she didn't exist. She was going to take over the kingdom of Vietnam some day (after a few strings were pulled, bien oui) and letting France step over their turf like their motherland was garbage?
Unacceptable. She would slit a few throats herself before anyone revealed such weakness. All in due time.
This is fact not fiction, for the first time in years she was in a place were she could find reason for 'deaths'.
Aqua came in and asked for chicken pasta. Then she took it and sat down after grabbing a bottle of lemonade. She ate angrily and she hated both of them, Vanessa AND Isabelle.
Jack came inside and looked around for princess that need to be served. He saw Aqua and walked over:"Do you need anything, your highness?"
"No thank you. Can you talk to me though? I am befuddled right now.." Aqua said frowning.
"Sit down. Get comfortable!" She exclaimed. She was kind to everyone.
"Well...I'm fine with Vanessa making friends but she is always ignoring me!" Aqua saod.
"Yes she is! When I try to help her out and be friends with Izzy, she always just goes on talking like I dont have feelings!" Aqua said.
"So do I! But are you saying you are taking her side? And you think I dont?" Aqua said annoyed.
"Your highness, she is the one who gave me a job here. I know her. She won't ignore anybody. Maybe she was just busy." He looked down
"Well I could fire you right now....Just kidding! But you got that statement wrong. Fine! Then should I sneak up on her right now and see how she is faring?" Aqua cocked her head.
"No it's fine! I was just kidding! So do you want me too?"Aqua said laughing.
"Should I sneak up on Vanessa and see how she is faring? You said that she is not ignorant!" Aqua sighed.
"Fine! Bye! I will go and check up on you later!" And she left...
Princess Charlotte of England strode into the Dining Hall, passing Aqua as she did so. She nodded to Jack in a friendly way, motioning for him to come over.
