A puddle of water moved slowly down the street. Young children were playing near by. One stepped in the puddle and Audrey tried to suppress a laugh. It tickles!! she thought.

Lydia walked down the street, lighting a cigarette as she did so. Old habits die hard, she thought bitterly to herself.

Audrey kept flowing down the street slowly.

Kris followed a strange clear puddle. It seemed to be flowing down the street by itself, leaving no trace of water behind it. what a strange puddle Kris thought walking along side, looking down at Audrey.

Audrey giggled and left a trail of water spelling out "Hi!"

Kris jumped back in surprise but then waved at the puddle "Hi!" he smiled.

The puddle seemed to smile. Then sure that he wouldn't be too freaked out, Audrey stepped out of the puddle and waved back.

Kris gasped, "That was cool! Are you a magician?"

"Sorta." Audrey said smiling down at him. Well sorta down he was almost as tall as she was. We'll she was almost as short.

"What do you mean 'sorta'" Kris asked.

"I'm not a magician. More like a super hero." Audrey said, "But I'm on a secret mission so you can't tell anyone or the bad guys will find me."

Kris's eyes glittered with excitement, "Can I help?"

"You know what. I think you can! By keeping my secret you will be the biggest help in the world!'

Kris frowned, "I meant come with you on your mission!"

"I see. You can come, but you have to stay hidden for a while."

Kris smiled then frowned again, "Hide? From what?"

((I just realized we don't have an evil character o.O))

"Bad guys."

"Oh, where should I hide?" Kris asked, figuring Audrey would just turn into a puddle again.

"In plain sight." Audrey winked. "Just act like you always do and no one will suspect a thing."

Kris smiled, "Oh! Okay!" He turned and started walking down the street.

Audrey turned into a puddle and continued on her merry way.

Kris dropped behind Audrey a little. "My name's Kris, what's yours?" he asked, realizing he hadn't introduced himself.

"Audrey"

Kris smiled "So where's this person we're hiding from?"

"She could be anywhere/"

"What's her name?"

"Jacqueline. She's my sister."

"Why is she evil?" Kris wondered.

"It runs in the family. I just decided to break the chain and now everyone is after me."

Kris smiled, "Well good for you!"

Audrey was too busy watching Kris to notice Jacqueline walking on the other side of the street.

Kris looked across the street at a girl walking on the other side. "Hey, that girl kinda looks like you..."

BY the time Audrey looked across the street Jacqueline was gone.

Kris followed her gaze and frowned, "She was there a second ago,"

Audrey wasn't paying attention.

Kris looked down at the puddle that was Audrey

Audrey flowed under a door then stepped out of her puddle.

Kris opened the door and stepped in after her

Audrey sat on the old torn up couch.

Kris sat down next to her, "So are there any other super heros?"

"Zaron and I are the only ones I know of. There's my family too but their all evil. My sister is especially evil." Audrey said shrugging.

"Whose Zaron?" Kris asked as a 15 year old boy walked in. "Zaron, at your service," The boy said sitting down on a chair sitting across from the couch.

"Hey, Zaron. This is Kris. Kris, this is Zaron." Audrey said

"Hi Zaron," Kris said holding his hand out. Zaron took it and gave it a shake smiling

"Glad you two met. Hey what time is it?"

Zaron glanced at his watch, "6:01, why?"

"Kris it's getting late. Your parents will be worried."

Kris frowned, "I don't have parents, they left me in the park when I was 3..." his voice trailed off, "Could I stay here?" he asked, his excitement restored.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, I had no idea. Of course you can stay here! I wouldn't have let you leave anyway."
