Kendall and Bruno walked hand in hand along the deserted beach, setting there stuff down on the sand with a thud. They always held hands like that, wherever they went. That was just part of their friendship. Kendall was the first to sink to the sand, sighing so loudly, leaning back on the blanket. "BBBBBBRRRRRunnnnnooooo..." He whinned. "Come sittttt with meeeehhhh...."

Bruno rolled his eyes and sat down carefully next to him. "You want me to massage your shoulders again?" Lately, Kendall had been more tense than usual; rent woes. "I told you, i'd help you out. And, i'm working on convincing my mom on letting me live with you...."

Kendall smiled softly. "You're the best friend a guy could have." He turned his back to him so he could start.

Tessa was chatting with Vincent, while strolling on the beach. They were talking about surfing, and how great it was to be athletic. They both shared some things in common. They both loved reading, writing, dancing and more. Vincent liked dogs, but Tessa liked a cats a bit more. And apparently, Vincent's dog Max was trotting behind them, his tongue lolled out as he panted.

Tessa spotted a nice spot at the shore. "C'mon, it'd be great to get our feet wet." she grinned. "You bet." Vincent smiled back. The left their sandals further up the shore, and charged over to a quaint spot where the waves lapped up gently. "Alright, time to relax." Vincent fell down on his back. "I'm gonna squat, since my mom would KILL me if she saw me with sand all over my shorts." Tessa sighed.

"Don't be a party pooper." Vincent chuckled and stared at her. Tessa rolled her eyes. "Trust me, if I could sit, I would." she gave an exsaperated sigh.

Kendall and Bruno both looked up, hearing voices. Kendall was the first to smile and say "Hey. She's Asian, too." like that was all that mattered. But in all actuality, he was more focused on Vincent.
"Get down, get down!" Kendall whispered and crawled on his stomach on the beach blanket. "Just observe...."

((ASIAN PEOPLE ROCK!!! WOOT!!! Haha, I always do that to. Whenever I watch american movies, and an Asian guy pops up, I go: "Asian dude!!!!"))

Tessa was observing her fingernails, when she geav a startled cry. "Woah!" she fell forward into the water. Vincent was laughing his head off. "Vincent! Oh, you are SO dead!" she got back up. "More like you're tha dead one. Your mom's the one who's gonna kill you." Tessa looked down. "Oh, you're joking, right?" she uttered. "Oh, well. I'll clean it myself." she announced smiling.

((Judging by the face in the picture, I think Tessa is either Vietnamese or Korean. XD))

Kendall and Bruno both smiled as they oserved

Tessa felt like slapping Vincent, but she fell back in laughter instead. "Oh, Vince. You just crack me up!" she exclaimed. "Well, your mom would probably hate me." Vince slid a fnger across his throat and pretended to die coughing up blood. "Oh, no! Your mom has glared me to death." he fake cried. Tessa laughed, wiping her nose. "Oh, no! No, Vincent, don't go!" she struggled to keep in the laughter, but she was smiling all the same. She pretended to do CPR. "I'm gonna get your blood running again!" she started lightly punching his chest. Vincent still pretended to be dead, but he was still laughing his head off.

Kendall smiled to himself and nudged Bruno. "See? I told you going to the beach would be worthwhile..."

"Oh, alright. I forgive the idiot that knocked me over into the sand and water and got my skorts wet." Tessa rolled her eyes and sat down on the sand, and didn't really give a crap. "Score!" Vincent shot upright, making it look like he came back from the dead. "Wah!" Tessa was a little suprised and leaned to her side. "Don't fall! Again." Vincent caugt her hand and pulled her back up.

Kendall just grinned. "Bruno...We gotta go talk to him...I...I mean them.."
"Now?" Bruno asked.
"Now." And Kendall was already standing up

Tessa gasped and forced herself upright. "Woah! Thanks? Gah, never mind." she sighed. Vincent just laughed. He looked around and spotted two guys not to far away. He waved to them. "Hey! Havin' a nice time?" he called out like they were old friends. Tessa facepalmed herself.

Kendall blushed really bright and waved back, dragging a relunctant Bruno through the sand. "Hey!" Kendall said as they got closer.

"Seriously? You- and I do mean we- don't even know them. Ever heard of stranger danger?" Tessa grinned and lightly punched his shoulder. "Aw, I'm 23 years old, Tess. I don't need my mom to look after me anymore." Vincent rolled his eyes. "Come one over!" he shoutd and turned back to them.

Kendall loved him already. "Whats that 'bout stranger danger, miss? I have ears!" Vruno hit his shoulder lightly.
"Oh, shucks. Well, how 'bout this. I'm Kemdall and this is Bruno. Now you know us."

''Eh, sorry. I'm not really supposed to be out here rigtt now." Tessa sighed and messed with her hair. Vincent grinned. "Sorry about her. Her mom freaks me out. She snuck out. Well, her mom isn;t home but her dad is." he spotted Kendal.. "Hey, Tessa. He's Asian just like you!" he grinned and laughed. "And that means...?" Tessa laughed with mock happiness.

Kendall smiled wider and gave her a wink. "That means we're blood siblings! What are you, Korean? Or Japanese, like me?" He kept stealing wayward glances at Vincent as he spoke

"Actually, I think I'm half-and-0half. My mom is Korean and my dad is Japanese." Tessa put a finger on her chin. "I'm also American, but not by blood." she looked back and smiled. "I guess we must be related!" she added.

Vincent looked at both of them. "Cool! Unknown relatives... I have my mom and dad, but my dad is Swedish and my mo is Hawaiian. Weird mix, I know."

Kendall shrugged his shoulders back and smiled. "Eh, love is love. Doesn't matter the origin, just as long as you make it happen..."
Bruno had remained silent the entire time. Tessa totally wasn't his...type...He knew that much

Tessa nodded. "Yeah. I might be Chinese but I'd have to look at my family tree." she glanced over to Bruno and flinched. "Not very talkative, are you?" she tilted her head.

Vincent shruggd. "Yeah. I might have other stuff in me, because my dad has a history..." he sighed.

((Yeah, and I figured they wouldn't, you know?))

Bruno gulped and shook his head; no. He always just let Kendall do his thing, keeping quiet always. Being from his large family, speaking out was something he didn't usually do.

Kendall nodded. "Don't we all do, hun, though?" He said, sympathetically. "As to be expected. Not everything in life is peachy...I won't ask, though." He winked playfully again, but at Vince this time.

((Yeah. I can make hima guy, unless you wanna add drama.))

"That's fine, usually I'm not allowed to even be out here like this." Tessa smiled softly.

Vincent blinked. Did he wink at him? Nah. He was imagining things. "Yeah. I'm related to a lot of people." he sighed.

((He doesn't like like kendlall right NOW, but he will later. Maybe after he realizes he likes Tessa, but then she turns him down. (; ))

Kendall let out a little sigh and leaned backwards on his heels. "So...Come here often?" What else can I say? Usually, he had a lot of things to say to people, but Cince took his breath away...

Bruno nodded and smiled up at Tessa, thoughtfully and nice. Not in a flirty way.

"Yup! Tons of times. I don't really even see many people here, but I take Tessa with me here a lot. I live alone though." Vince nodded and grinned, looking at the sky.

"Today is a bit cloudy. Not like yesterday. I usually come out herejust for the water." Tessa admitted.

"Bruno and I, this is our spot, really. I'm surprised we've never seen you here before..." Kendall looked to his wrists and pulled down the sleeves of his sweater. "Are you guys like, best friends...? Lovers...?" He hoped they weren't.

"Lovers? Nope! But I've known Tessa ever since she's moved here! So, we're best buds."" Vincent knew in the back of his mind, he actually liked Tessa a little. Maybe even a lot. Then he leaned over an hugged Tessa, who just sighed. "Yeah. He's the first person I saw when I moved here." she said.

((Uh...I think a new girl would be in order. It would make Vince and Kendall's relationship seem less important...But, we can add drama by Bruno taking Tessa out on a ddate or two? But, nothing becomes of that?))

"Wow, way to pick 'em..." He said, outloud. Uh...God, you're so stupid, Kendall! Vince was seriously messing him up. He could see it in Vincent's eyes; the want, the need, the desire of this chick. Why do I always have to pick the straight ones...? He thought.

"If it's one thing, we are a messed up pair of people, dontcha think?" Tessa said and pushed Vincent off. Vincent fell over and his head landed next to Kendall. "Hey!" he got upright, but now he was a lot closer to Kendall, but he didn't really notice. "But, you are right." he sighed.

Kendall felt his heart flutter, and his cheeks flush. Bruno nudged him gently on the shoulder; their silent language to tell the other one that they were blushing noticeably. Kendall took a deep breath, and the color disappeared. He liked how comfortable they were together, as friends.

"How long have you been here, Kendall?" he asked. "I go to hawaii every now and then."

Tessa laughed. "Some friends we are." she said.

"Pretty much all my life, really. I was born in a different state, though." He answered

Kendall cleared his throat and looked to his bare feet. "Massachusetts, actually. In Boston. That's where I was born...only lived there till I was two, then we came here." He smiled at Bruno, nudging him gently. "Met him in preschool, and we've been best friends ever since"

Bruno blushed, as if the truth embarrassed him

"Aw, how sweet." Tessa smiled. "JK, That's awesome! Yo sound like yoiu've known eachother for a much longer time than us." she added.

Vincent nodded. "Cool, out of state. When I was little, I used to travel EVERYWHERE in the world. But now my parents' bosses are jerks." he had and edge to the last part.

OOO! So, he's cultured!" Yeah...thats us! We're never really apart." He turned to Bruno and smiled. "Speak, Mouse! I know you have a voice."

"I....I don't....Kendall likes Vincent, okay?" He had a habit of doing that; freaking out and saying the obvious.

Way to blow my fricken cover, bro Kendall thought. "What??! Noooo, Mr. Bru. You're so funny!" But he didnt sound convincing when he fake laughed

"Sorry, what? I couldn't really hear you. Nice voice impression, though." Vincent said, because he just sneeezed.

Tessa laughed, and didn't get to hear either.

Kendall sighed. "Oh, thank god." He shot Bruno daggers with his eyes.

"Did he say something to embarass you?" vincent smiled.

"Can't you tell by my cheeks?" He said, pointing to them. They were burning bright red.

Bruno slipped away after that, walking back to the blanket. "I hate ot when he ditches me for boys..." he mumbled

"Sorry? Why? I always got embarrased around Tessa." Vincent raised an eyebrow.

He loves HER! No! Now, he looked devestated. He turned away, his features softening prettily, though he was hurting on the inside.

"Eh? I don't think I should've embarassed you in that comment. Tessa is always revealing stupid child hood memories, as in that type of embarassment." Vincent scratched his head.

"Like the time you almost drowned in the pool when you were seven years old?" Tessa giggled. "Hey! I was young back then, and I could swim, but I was holding something heavy." Vincetn stammered.

Kendall turned away, resisting the urge to scream at them to stop flirting so much. I hate love. I hate falling for people, only to wind up disappointed. No one wants the Asian kid who looks like he's still in middle school, not college. He wouldn't even fathom loving me, would he? I...I should just go back to Bruno... But, he couldn't bring himself to move anywhere else.

Tessa's phone rang. "Aw, crap. I gotta go. My dad is gonna get worried. See ya Vince." she got up and sprinted back home. (I was gonna make her a mansion, but I delted the tab I was working on a nd gave up XD))

VInce waved bye. "Later!"

When she was a good distance away, Kendall turned back to Vince. "Way to make your adoration clear as day, Captain Obvious." He said it in a teasing manner, but there was an edge to his voice. "Just put the moves on her...I think she'd be willing to comply..."
