I'd be willing. It's been on my list for quite a while as well, and I should have lots more time after June!
That sounds great! It would be a good time to do it, during those baseball games! How about starting around June 1st and we can figure out a schedule when the time comes around? Plus, that gives more people the chance to join in.
Hmmm, I think that I need to get a copy of it to figure out how the book is divided. Maybe, do it as a summer read, let's go until end of August. How does that sound?
I may join if I have time and August is definitely better for me as I have a number of books scheduled for May already.
I'm new to the group and my uncle recommended this book. I may join but right now I am trying to finish the count of monte cristo.

Welcome to the group Sheryl! I'm thinking that starting in June or July might be a better option, if that is ok with Kelly and Cleo. Good luck with The Count, it is a good book, enjoy!

That would be great! The more, the merrier!

Hey group! An official start date of June works just fine for me, though I hope to start soon I won't have as much time until June.
Nice! So how about June-August? We can be squishy about the end date since it is a long book. I'll set up a thread to start. Thanks all!
This is one of my favorite books. I listened to it on cd last summer (read by one of my favorite readers!). My husband gave me a copy for Christmas (on cd), and I've been listening to it again for the past few weeks. Up to disc 39 today! There are some slow parts, and some infuriating characters, but it also has a good plot and a lot to think about. Mirrors what is happening to our country right now.
