Childhood Classics ~ A List
Well, that is far fancier than mine. When I was little I loved Goodnight Moon. When I was a little older, and reading on my own I loved Charlotte's Web. By the time I was 12ish I fell in love with Anne McCaffrey.
OMG! I loved the book the Ghost child, it was such a brilliant and heartwarming 96 page picture book. It was in the presentation of a peter rabbitt book. i loved it.
I think it was written by emma tenant
oh and I loved the HP series which I still love and Roald Dahl's books as well as these.
rainbow magic
go girl
goosebumps

For some reason, I never really liked
The diary of anne frank.
I read about 100 pages but I found that it didn't appeal to me.

Haha! I agree. I used to read them over and over, especially the one where they find the old island with the castle! I never found the Secret Seven book. I would've liked to read it.
Enid Blyton books no questions asked. How about the Little Golden Books? Did anyone ever read them?! They now have new ones including Avengers...no joke! You can look it up - there is a Captain America and a Thor Little Golden Book!!
Loved Little Golden Books! My favorite series when I was younger was The Baby-Sitters Club! Loved that series! I think i read every book a dozen or so times. Practically had them all memorized. :)
When I was very little I also loved Goodnight moon and Dr. Suess! But the first book I really really loved was Harry Potter! I was only 5 at the time (my dad read it to me) and I absolutely fell in love with books! My dad had noo idea what he had signed up for! :)
I loved The Complete Adventures of Blinky Bill. It's very different to the cartoon since the cartoon has been adapted for young audiences.
As a child i also loved the 101 Dalmations and around the world in 80 days, as i loved adventure. I still do love adventure but only ever seem to experiance it in films :( well. who knows, adventure is always unexpected as it could well be just around the corner!
I loved 'The Lady Grace Mysteries' and the 'My Story' series! I also read the Harry Potters at a very early age and have been obsessed ever since.
Goodnight Moon and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
When I got a little older, I loved Narnia and Harry Potter.

oh jeez - my favorite childhood books?i had a book of korean fairytales that i love (in fact i'm actually planning on writing modern retellings of some of my favorites). i also read hans christen andersen, aesop, the brothers grimm...
oh, and then of course there was narnia, the wizard of oz, the phantom tollbooth, goosebumps, tom sawyer, the sweet valley twins, the babysitters' club...
pretty much everything. i won a lot of awards in primary school for being such a precocious reader. it was awesome, getting rewarded for what i loved to do most.
