Okay I am so mad at Calliope for making Kate pregnant!!!!! First of all she is only 19 which is practically a newborn herself and poor Henry I love him so much he is sooo sweet and he came through in the end! Anyway what did everyone think of the book?

I thought it was really good. I love how the author gave us the scene where Henry finds out. I love how he screams and shakes the earth. What does Calliope want with a baby. I know it's to get back but still. A baby? Is she going to hurt it or something. Can't wait for the third though!!

There is a scene where Henry finds out Kate is pregnant and kidnapped? I read an advanced reading copy and that wasn't there! Darn now I got to read that part.

It's after the acknowledgments in the paper back. It's really sweet but then it gets really sad.

I was like, "OMG! what is calliope going to do with the baby?" And i was really mad at ava for not doing anything and When i read the part when henry finds out i got chills, i was like *gasp, panic attack, faint* haha

I didn't see the part where Henry finds out either. And DANG!!!! Poor Kate and poor Henry. But, what is UP with Ava?? How could see do that to Kate? In this book, she's been through soooooo much!!!

And.... Henry. Oh, Lord! I got SOOOOO mad at him in this book. Like with Persephone..... and Kate's gift. Dang!!! I thought I was gonna cry with Kate, but that's not the point.

Can't wait til the 3rd one. Suspenseful ending.

i wonder if it hurts authors as much as it hurts us when they write cliffhangers (for some reason i imagine them smiling malishously at there computer screen and laughing! *muhahahahahahahahahahahaha*

i loved the book the cliffhanger made me want to murder the author.....but then the 3rd book wouldnt come out atall would it???

so thats not an option

im just going to sit in a corner and sulk untill the next book comes out! "what 2013?? oh well"

OMG....the ending was just terrible for me....i mean, i loved it and all, but it just made me want to claw my hair out. THE NEXT BOOK IS COMING OUT NEXT YEAR AND YOU GIVE US A CLIFFHANGER THAT HUGE? I MEAN COME ON?! HER BEING PREGNANT AND HENRY FINDING OUT IN THE NEXT BOOK AND HAVING HIM REALIZE IT WAS THEIR CHILD HIS EMOTIONS WERE SO STRONG THAT HE COATED THE UNDERWORLD WITH FROST AND SPLIT THE EARTH IN HALF JUST TO GET TO HER....I MEAN OMG...that was such a huge moment...AND WHAT ABOUT THE BABY? WHY BRING THE BABY INTO THIS? WHAT IS SO IMPORTANT ABOUT HIM/HER?! OMG...so many questions left to be unanswered until next year when the next book comes out...sigh...im done with my ranting for one night.

Gahhh , i LOVED this book & im dying for the next one honestly.

Did you find it yet? its like in the end of the book...its in the section where it talks about an excerpt for the next book.

I read the first book and i loved it but the second book was a shame. All Kate did was whine. It got old and annoying after a while. The ending of this book was good though. It was interesting that a main character would get pregnant so soon.

I do agree about the whining thing, but that's just how Kate does. I got used to it in the first book. And to her defense, she does live with a palace full of gods and goddesses. The gods can do things she can't do. I guess that's why she complains about so much. I guess there's a reason why Aimee Carter created her that way. Who knows??

Also, I'd bet that the majority of the girls out in this mental world would do a worse job than her, and would be complaining!

I dont think Kate was that bad , she was just stressed because she was trying & it wasn't working

I think Calliope/Hera is the only fault. Ava/Aphrodite only knew that Kate is going to sleep with Henry/Hades.Plus, she is desperate to save her husband.

Ava said it wasn't her fault and Kate believes her. She didn't even know Kate was pregnant until she saw Calliope and sensed it.

And they are kinda married. I wouldn't say their relationship just begun- more that the communication did.

Plus, from what I've seen, if you don't like the pregnant part, you are looking at it from a normal person's view. Her circumstances are not normal. He's a god. He can create things (like that quartz flower) correct?

If they wanted to avoid pregnancy badly enough, he could have created some contraception.

Kate and Henry are all upset cause they think Calliope will harm their family-- especially the newest member.

Henry finds out Kate is in labor from Ava and tears the underworld apart. That's what happens for the next book. Can't wait!
