Anna threw up in a bucket trying to calm her stomach down she leaned back resting her head against the wall eyes closed.
Will walked down with Marigold. He didn't notice Anna as he began to clean the blood off of Marigold's hands.
Anna vommitted in the bucket holding her hair back. She finally finished once there was nothing left in her stomach and rested her head on the side of it feeling disgusted.
Will looked over at Anna and left Marigold's side, rushing over to Anna and holding her hair back. "are you alright?" he asked softly when she was done
Ana shook her head scooting away from the bucket and she hurried her face in her legs. "I hate being here," she whispered. "But I cant leave I was born here and this is were my parents wanted me," she said firmly wrapping her arms around her bubbling stomach. She still felt like she needed to throw up.
Marigold came over to her and placed a cool hand on Anna's hot cheek, "Well at least your not forced to be here," she said quietly. She got the bucket just in case her need to throw up became great again.
Anna chewed her lip knowing she was right. Anna wasn't forced to be here she had promised her parents which was as good as binding in her mind but technically she could leave whennever she pleased.
Faith slowly scrubbed the old wooden floor, despite her growing nausea and aching hands and knees. She noticed Anna with her head in a bucket and forced a sob rising in her throat back. She quickly scooted towards Marigold , scrubbing as she went. I hate this place so much.. she thought when she reached Marigold. "Is she okay?" she whispered to her, not sure if she wanted to know the answer.
Anna raised her head. "I'm sorry I'll clean this all up," she says shakily getting up and starting to clean.
"Sea sick I presume," Marigold whispered back to Faith. She looked at Faith calmly and ran a hand threw her hair, smiling comfortingly to her.
Marigold forced her back into her chair, "Oh no you won't. That's my job." she used a wet rag and cleaned it up and then quickly brought the bucket with puke above deck, pouring over the side and then coming back.
Faith looked up at her older sister and smiled. Marigold always knew how to comfort her when she was upset.
Anna stubbornly took a mop and started to clean taking not taking no for an awnser. She winced whenever splinters went in her palms but kept doing it until the floor was clean.
Marigold started removing the splinters and then she washed off some of the blood. Finally tearing off two parts of her skirt and wrapping both of them.
Faith watched Marigold fixing up Anna's hands and went over to help. She took Anna's right hand in hers and helped wrap it. When she looked up, she flashed her a reassuring smile.
Marigold shrugged to Anna indifferently, "It's fine." She looked down at her tattered and stained dress. When she had be taken it had been satiny silk and a lavender color. Not it was brownish and rough.
Anna frowned at marigold and shuffled through her mothers old trunk pulling out one that looked like marigold's exept this was a soft blue she layer it on marigolds shoulder silently begging her not to thank her.
Anna gave a sigh of relief. "Well yours has blood on it so I just figured its my moms old dress why not she not here anymore," she said shrugging.
Marigold averted her eyes from Anna's, "I'm sorry." she decided not to tell her that she no longer had a mother either, but didn't want the sympathy that would come with it.
Anna gaze turned distant for a second but turned back to normal after. Anna shrugged looking at her mothers trunk. "Thanks," she said wishing that not everyone treated her like she was fragile when she said that.
Will watched this exchange silently from a corner of the room.
Anna closed her trunk quickly and Sat on her bed pulling out a white one that. She slipped over her ruined one.
Will turned away as she changed, slightly embarrassed.
Marigold hadn't meant to ignore Will. But her was so quiet. She smiled inwardly and looked at him and then at her knuckles that were less bloody now thanks to him.
Will looked over at Marigold and caught her eye, smiling. "your hand better?" he asked, "I'm sorry you're stuck here." he added quietly. but sort of glad too.
Marigold smiled, "Its alright, I'm used to it." She heard Anna gasp and noticed that she had taken her clothes off. "Do you want me to give you some privacy?" she asked them.
Will forced a laugh, but it was more like a choke. "No! I mean, if you're going... We're not... Ummm..."
"I didn't take my clothes off just my shirt if that's what your thinking," Anna said popping back up in a new shirt face red.
Marigold stood up, her cheeks turning pink."Sorry... I'm... I'm gonna go," she stuttered. She made her way to the stairs and quickly climbed them, Anna's mothers dress in hand and went to her room.
Will started to walk after her but then stopped, running his fingers through his hair.
Will looked up at Anna, "Are you feeling any better?"
"Yeah," she lied. "Feel better you can go if you want," she lied crossing ber arms over her bubblung stomach
Will tilted his head, "I'd rather stay, but I'll go if you want me to."
Anna shook her head. "No you can stay I just I'm not used to people taking care of me," she muttered leaning back on her bed.
Will sat down next to her on her bunk, looking over at her. "Are you sure you're okay?"
Anna nodded. "Wait a minute," she whispered she got up and stumbled to the bathroom brushing her teeth. She came back and sat on her bed. "I needed that taste out of my mouth," she muttered.
Mary woke up from the sound of talking and turned on another side on her bed. She glared at the people, "I'm trying to sleep here. Could you be at least whispering?"
Will looked over at Mary appoligetically. "Sorry." he whispered and then turned back to Anna, "I should go back up... You coming?"
Mary sighed and stood, "No need to apologize. I'm already up now." With that, she went up to the deck to talk to the captain
