Acidicus opened up the tomb entrance."I think the coasssssst isssss clear."He said,shielding his eyes from the light.

Scales nodded. "I hear cheering. Maybye thossse ninja actually defeated The Great Devourer. I havn't ssseen Pythor sssince he got eaten. I wonder where he could be....
But where ssshall we go? We cannot ssstay in thiss tomb forever, and we will be ssshunned above ground. The second we enter their land, the ninja will be upon us, and we do not have the strength or forces to fight. Also, isss it really nessecary for the Tribes to ssstay united? We will have to pick a new leader sssince Pythor isss...misssing, and there is not much time for an election."

Acidicus nodded."Maybe we sssshould make me the leader.I am the ssssstrongesssssst."He slithered out of the tombs."And there musssst be sssssomeplace to find ssssshelter."

Scales followed him. "I would not sssay that I agree with you. I want to be leader, and I'm sssure that the other Tribe leaders do to. But we ssshould sssettle down somewhere first, where we can focus on these matters. Until then, every Tribe leader should get a say in all decisions. It will be fair for everyone, and there will be no arguments about leadership."
Scales slithered up to a tall rock, speckled with shiny metal bits. "Here we shall wait for the others. Unless you have an objection...?"

"No no,I ssssssupposssse you're right."Acidicus slithered up to the rock."I believe that Ssssslithraa will be wanting the ssssstaff back,however.He hassssn't been in a good mood sssssince he losssst to you.But more importantly,I think that we could make it back to Oroborossssss and find ssssome place to make a hideout."

"Yesss, the ninja will not be very active there. They mussst be awfully busssy with all of the partiesss thrown in their honor to attend to. But evetually they will come looking and when they do, we will be ready."
Scales started digging around in the leaves surrounding him. "Okay, sssoo where to find food??.."

Tsu-tey sat by himself far from the parties that were being thrown. He was never interested in things like self-indulgence. he didnt notice the serpentine that were behind him either.

Acidicus turned to the ninja."Hmm....that will do."

Scales turned to Acidicus. "I'll frighten him. When he jumps backwards, you come out from behind that tree and finish him off. I have always wanted to taste ninja.

Tsu-tey muttered to himself and said "why is it that when we do something there has to be a huge party?"

Acidicus nodded and slithered up a little closer to the ninja.

Tsu-tey stood up "I suppose i should go back down there before anyone notices my absence" he said to himself

Acidicus slithered behind the tree,ready to strike.

Tsu-tey stretched and started to head back to the town

Acidicus frowned."Uh,Ssskalesss?

Scales jumped in front of Tsu-tey. "Boo!" he hissed loudly, sticking out his tonuge and crossing his swirly eyes.

Acidicus slithered up behind and lunged at Tsu-Tey!

Hunter bumped into Acidius. "What are you doing here?

Acidicus hissed at hunter and lunged at him.

Hunter pulled out his sword and slashed at Acidius's tail.

Acidicus let out a yelp and spat at Hunter.

Scales slithered up beside Acidius and started using his hypnotic powers on Hunter.

Tsu-tey leaped in surprise and fell backwards.

Acidicus lunged at Tsu-Tey!"I'll take care of thissss one,you get Hunter!"

Tsu-tey was about to scramble to his feet when Acidicus lunged at him and knocked him down again.

Acidicus spat at his eyes.

Tsu-tey rolled out of the way just in time and got back to his feet.

Unknown to the battling ninjas and snakes, two pairs of glowing eyes watched intently.

Acidicus grabbed Tsu-Tey's neck and tried choking him.

Tsu-tey scrabbled at his throat as Acidicus choked him.

He squeezed as tight has he could and spat once more.

"C'mon can't I attack one of the them?" one of the glowing eyes asked quietly.
"Not yet," sighed the other pair. "The Poisssssson one hassss almossssst got that one. Then we'll go after the other..."

Tsu-tey winced as he got spat in the eyes

"Who ssssaid that?" Scales hissed

"OW!" one of the pair of eyes said.
"Sssssssee?" Spat the other. "You blew our cover!"

Acidicus let go of Tsu-Tey and slithered over to the voices."Who'sssss there?"

One of the pair of glowing eyes lept from its hiding place and landed behind Acidicus.
"I am Ssssadyueasssss," the snake with a black cape introduced. The other pair of eyes slither out in front of Acidicus.
"And I'm Sersia," she said.

"Are you Ssssserpentine?"He wondered.

"If serpentine means we're snakes, than yes," Sersia said in a flat voice, thinking Acidicus was dumb.

Tsu-tey stumbled, the venom in his eyes messing with his sight. He staggered toward Ninjago city.

Acidicus frowned."I don't like your tone...."

"Ssssshe'sssss like that," Sadyueas said. "I sssssshould know. Sssssshe isssss my sssssisssster."

"Sssssso,do you two have your own tribe?"He wondered."Or are you part of one?"

"I think we're in our own clan," Sersia said. "Then again, I don't know what you're talking about..."
Sadyueas glaced back at Acidicus. "To be honessssst, I'm wondering that too," He confessed.

"You mean you don't know about the tribesss?"Acidicus said,very confused."The five tribessssss of the Ssssserpentine!I am the leader of the Venomari Tribe.Do you have any sssspecial sssskilssss?"

"Well...I can make lightning come out of thin air, as well as having my own poison..." Sersia muttered.
"And I can't do the lightning thing, but I do have ssssssome nassssty poissssson," Sadyueas said.

"That sssseemssss to be usssseful!How would you two like to join the Venomari Tribe?"Said Acidicus.

"Ssssssure!" Sadyueas said.
"Eh, I don't have better things to do so why not?" Sersia said.

Acidicus grinned."Excellent.You can help ussss desssstroy the ninja and all of Ninjago!"
