So season 3 is about start here and I am interested to see where it goes. After reading the books i was a little annoyed at how different it the tv show was but now I am liking both of them. Would love to talk about this with you all.

I've read the books and watch the show. Yes they are different. I really like the show though. I'd be happy to chat with you and anyone else about it:)

Tammy ~Witching Hour Reads~ (03tammy-lynn) | 327 comments I like both as long as I remember to keep them separate, I use to yell/ talk loudly at the screen, when something was different, my biggest upset was the whole Katherine being alive thing.

That was one of my biggest upsets to Tammy :)

Shah Wharton (shahw1) | 4 comments I love it but stopped reading this series when the ghost writers ruined it. I prefer the TV Elena over the book. I'm definitely up for the next series.

I just covered this amongst True Blood/Twilight and the differences between Being Human UK vs US here http://wordsinsync.blogspot.com/2011/...

Anna Definately prefer the series over the book. The book was hopeless. Is the US on the same series/episodes as the UK - we are usually behind and it would be good to avoid spoilers. UK is on series 3

Samantha (samjay73) | 50 comments Never read the books but LOVE the show. Looking forward to Season 4 ... some new twists at the end of Season 3 will make it really interesting.

Thanks Anna for pointing that out. I didn't know that UK was behind...NO SPOILERS pleas:)

Brandy Nacole (brandynacole) So what does everyone think of the spinoff show, The Originals? I think if they were going to try something like this, they needed to run it during the off season for VD. That way VD fans still get to see part of their fav show.
I'm curious bout it!
