I've been busy with a new person project.

I've put together a website where all of my music is going to be made available as free downloads.

Right now, I have 3 albums uploaded, with 10 more to be ready by the first of the year.

Check it out if you have the time.

Listening to Laying Down the Law right now... not in a concentrated enough form to review it or anything, but letting it slip by me. Pretty nice. Though I do think the "genre" label in the ID3 tag shows a bit of, shall we say, hubris. :) "Cherry Blossom" has that nice, thick feel to it that kinda reminds me of Phil Spector's old "wall of sound" postprocessing. And, damn, beginning what is essentially a pop album with a 20-minute track and ending it with a 15-minute track? You have far more guts than I ever did, sir. (And damn, there's NOISE at the beginning of "Timmy's Dream"! I love it already!)

Thanks Robert.

Glad you are listening.

The whole 'God Music' thing is really just a big inside joke. Funny, because I found that 'genre' label after repurchasing my favorite hip hop album - the first Boogie Monsters CD. For some reason, they have their genre labeled as 'God Music'. And because I am a deeply spiritual person, on most of my old album covers I have God listed as a co-writer. Figure God is with me at all times, so I might as well give him credit.

I should write up a little thing about this for the blog!

:)

My new album is up:

Although it really doesn't belong in a thread called "Rock This"

:)

Oh no! I'm saying it doesn't rock, at all!

:)

It's like the opposite of rock.

Actually, I was just checking out some of Robert's stuff today - pretty cool. He would get along well with my friend Vance, aka Inhale -- they both like to scare the crap out of their listeners while creating interesting atmospheric noise.

Which is to say, it's good.

:)
