#ReadAllTheBooks I'm just writing this to warn people that the print version is very, very different from the podcast version. The reason I'm mentioning this is because it's so different that I wouldn't really recommend reading the podcast reviews because it's almost entirely two different stories. There's a lot that has been changed.

#ReadAllTheBooks I would even go as far as to say that at least half of the book has been dramatically changed from the podcast version. The basic plotline is still there, but entire characters have been changed or somewhat removed from the novel entirely.

So if you're reading this and the podcast is still linked to the print version, don't count the podcast reviews with the novel version. Both are good, but it's like comparing apples and oranges.

Evan Hammerman I am about to start reading the 2012 book. I have already listened to the 2007 podcast.

Not only has the book been rewritten, I will be reading the print version vice listening to the author (Scott Sigler) perform the old one. As anyone who has both read and listened to Scott's works, it's two very different experiences.

I would like the opportunity to do a separate review.

Chris Hill The editors always butcher the hell out of a book. the podcast is a unfiltered/edited (and better) version of the book. This is why Scott Sigler is always re-recording his podcasts in a attempt to make the podcast and the book the same entity. I just wish there was a way to get the origional version of the podcasts before they were reproduced to match the book.
