The storage room was silent, except for the sounds of the waves agaisnt the hull. Then they was a creak as one of the lids was lifted off a crate, and out came Luis.
Bridgett strolled into the storage room to look for something to eat. She opened one of the crates and screamed, jumping back as fast as she could. Inside she had seen a person.
((fine :P you could have just edited your post to other post to make sense))In the crate was the dead body of a young boy, it was hard to tell he was dead though in the dim light.
Luis walked through the shadows and popped out behind a crate next to the door.
"Yes, indeed. Quite an interesting phenomenon of how he got there. But hey, I really got to be going now" he gave them a dramatic bow and quickly took his way up the steps.
Xanna didn't say a word. She walked over and looked in the box. "Guessing it was a stowaway that thought it would be fun to hang out." She said.
Bridgett watched the guy walk out, too stunned to speak. She looked over at the crate that she found the dead boy in and shuddered. She'd probably have a nightmare about it tonight.
Xanna looked at the crate with disgust. "Someone, dispose of this." She said with authority and walked out.
Will stuck his tongue out and said:
"Hey, I will be up on the deck, okay?" He smiled and left to the deck.
"Hey, I will be up on the deck, okay?" He smiled and left to the deck.
Bridgett nodded still to stunned to answer. She crept closer to the crate and looked in again. The poor boys body was limp and lifeless. Bridgett put her arms in, easyly lifting him and walked out to the deck
Archer stumbled into the storage room, moving through to the shelves. He dropped the empty bottle he had in his hand carelessly, sniffing out a full one. He found the rows of rum, looking for a good one. He grabbed one taking a taste. He shrugged, grabbing another bottle. He tasted that one, nodding. He put away the first bottle, taking with him the first.
Annie, having experience with the swaying of her footing when she drank, moved through the shelves, looking at all the liquor. She glanced at Archer with an eyebrow raised. "Is there any whiskey down here?" she asked him, still browsing the shelves. "And a full one, not a half empty one like some of these."
"Whiskey? So yur a whiskey gal?" He asked with a grin. "There's some full bottles over here, but I sugges' tastin' 'em first. Not all of 'em a'e very good." He nodded, taking a swig of the bottle he found. "Ye find yur self a man? Twen'y is comin' up for you, tha's old for the land lovers, eh?"
Vanessa came down to the storage room scavenging for food and found a young men and women talking. Nessie tucked a peice of hair behind her ear hiding from view but not succeeding. She fell into view and hit a box knocking another over.
"Graceful." He noted. He grabbed a different bottle, moving towards the girl. He held out his hand, offering her up. "Thirsty?" He asked, holding out a bottle for the girl. He raised an eyebrow, curious.
Vanessa shrugged and took she bottle taking a huge gulp. "I really am," she said in awnser to both his comments beautiful face flushed with embarrassment. She took another sip.
"Yup," Annie said, walking over to where the whiskey was and tasting them until she found one that was good. She grabbed it and popped on the cork. "And no, I haven't found one. All land men are sissys." Hearing a box, Annie looked over to where the noise came from. She saw it was a girl. She decieded not to mention it to Archer, since she could barely understand him as is.
Vanessa take another sip of she bottle archer had handed her and sat on a crate. She twirled a dagger in her hands and sighed crossing her legs.
"Pretty, too." His eyes roamed over her. He wondered if many men thought she was pretty. He offered his hand again to help her up.
She grabbed his hand and got up taking it away quickly face red. "My names Vanessa but people call me nessie," she said with a shy smile.
"Aye, all the land men aren't nearly as good as the sailers. Wha' about a marine? They be tough." He nodded, taking another long swig. He leaned back against the shelves, sending some bottles shaking. He chuckled, drinking more.
Annie shrugged. "Marines, ey? I don' know," she said, then rolled her eyes and took a large swig as Archer leaned on the shelves. "If you keep doin' that, we won' have any liquor tommorrow."
Vanessa rolled her eyes wondering why everyone got drunk so easily she could drink two full bottles of wine and only feel slightly dizzy. She chugged down the rest of her smiling at the liquid fire taste.
"An' how old are you, Nessie? I guess that's s'possed to be like Nessie from the lake.." He looked her over again, grinning in reply to her shy smile. "Surrounded by beautiful alcohol and two beautiful women, how nice." He smiled, taking another swig. He winced but didn't stop. The only time he might stop was if he was sleeping. And then only because he was so lazy to reach for the bottle. He slid down the shelf, sitting with his legs spread out.
"Nineteen," she said wondering what he was getting at as she popped open another bottle of whiskey. She took another gulp of whiskey not dizzy at all.
Annie let out a bark of laughter. "Are ye passin' out there now, Arch?" she asked him before taking another drink before taking a breath. she could only drink so much, since she had been practicly as drunk as Archer was right now when she was thirteen. "And that is the firs' time I have ev'r heard beautiful, not comin' from me brother," she said.
Nessie laughed. It was the first time she had been called beautiful too. People had told her she was.pretty before but never beautiful.
Annie pointed to Nessie, laughing. "See? Someone gets me sense of humor," she said, then took a drink. "So Nessie. Where are ye from?" she asked her after taking a swig. She really hoped Jack didn't see her like this. He swore her off this stuff when their father died. But it's not like she ever listened to him. I mean, c'mon, I'm the kind of person I always hated, she thought
Nessie looked at her. "From this ship I was born here," she said tying her long hair back silver hoops swinging in her ears.
Annie grinned. "Really? Did ye like growin' up aroun' grungy ol' pirates?" she asked her, joking somewhat. She remembered what it was like, seeing a pirate for the first time. It was one of her worst, yet best, memories.
Archer grinned. "See, you've been drinkin' for a couple o' minutes, I been drinkin' all day, love. It's my favorite thing to do. And you're both very pretty." He stood up with surprising agility for a drunk man. "Anyone for a dance? It's my third favorite thing to do, coming up behind sleep." He offered an arm to each lady.
Annie held up three fingers. "So, drinkin', sleepin', and dancin' are your favorite things to do, aye?" she asked him. "But I don't dance. I would step on all ye toes."
"Doncha have a good imagination? Fine then, I'll sing! Ohay, a pirates life for me! Ah, that's all I remember. We can use our imagination!" He laughed out, taking another swig.
She laughed and took a swig from her bottle only slightly dizzy now. She held out her hand deciding she would dance if he wanted.
"Don't forget four, I do quite enjoy sex." He added with a sly smile. "And redheads." He wiggled his eyebrows at Annie, laughing again. He looked at his bottle, practically empty. "Ah, damn. I'll need more." He walked through the shelves, able to adapt to the changing waves, better down here than on steady land. He grabbed two bottles, dancing back to the crates. He set one down on a crate and popped open the other. He admired it before taking a nice swig. "Ahh, yes."
"Imagination? Of what, a song?" Annie asked, putting her bottle by her mouth. "Okay then..... I'd say something, but my mind is blank at the moment."
Vanessa had been taking a swig from her bottle when he'd said that and almost spit it out cheeks flaming red.
He took Nessie's hand, putting his other on her waist. He held out he hand in his, spinning them around in a waltz like pattern. He sang a song with a "ladedah" version of the lyrics. He spinned her around dancing her back to Annie,
