Kyra hid in the shadows as some knights ran by the alley she lived in. As one peered in, she ducked behind a crate and waited for him to leave.

Lilian was walking down an alley when she noticed two people in a corner. They must have hid from the knights. Lilian herself didn't fear them. Her quick speed and her incredible hiding ability made her confident. Her stomach grumbled and she realized that she hadn't eaten for days. She walkedcloser to the people, noticing that they were girls, and smiled as she contemplated ways of tricking them.
"Now, now girls," Lilian said slyly recognizing the girls. Shed seen them in the streets before and they'd even ha a few tradings of what they'd gathered or stole. " We wouldn't want someone to get hurt, now would we?" She continued in a similar tone. Most girls on the street were afraid of her and she liked that a lot.
Kyra's eyes narrowed and flashed as she looked up at Lilian from her crouch. "Are you threatening me?" she growled in a low, cold voice. Unlike most of the girls on the streets, she acted like she wasn't afraid of anything, especially other girls.
"Ooo, I'm scared of you guys. No, I'm not threatening you but keep up the attitude and you might have a problem with me, kyra. Oh, and Hans shut up. You think you're tough because you've been going around with all of the boys on the street? Ha! People are scared of me because I can slit their throats, people are scared of you because they know you're psycho." Lilian walked closer to them, they looked like they hadn't eaten for days and like they had been sleeping on street corners.
Kyra clenched her fist and stood up, though she still wasn't as tall as Lilian. Her eyes flashed, but she said nothing. Instead, she fingered for something in her pocket and pulled out a hard, stale, small piece of bread and began to nibble on it, not offering any to the others. She wasn't the sharing type.
Kyra swung her head around when she heard her name. When she recognized Shill, she nodded and ran over, still nibbling on her bread.
Ignoring her comment, Lilian watched as Kyra's face showed shock and fear. It was odd seeing it on her face, not suited for her at all. So they were in trouble, she wondered if she would be brought into it somehow. No doubt the connections that she had would bother her over what she knew. They were weak feeble souls would shook under the mere name of sorcery and magic, under the misconception that all magic was evil. She despised them. It wasn't that she liked these girls but Lilian dazed off in thought as she contemplated t means of which she could ... help these street girls ,who were obviously on the edge of starvation. This feeling shocked her so she shook it off and ran away but not before glaring at Hans and speaking in a dark seething tone said, "Next time I run into you Hans, you won't get away quite unscathed."
Kyra's eyes widened. "He found out as in..." she lowered her voice. "As in that you're a witch?" she whispered.

Kyra cleched her fists. She knew she should be feeling fear and terror right now, but all she felt was rage. Who were these people to be inflicting judgement on others? What rights did they have to be stereotyping them?"We need to find somewhere we can hide. Somewhere where they can't find us. That, or storm the castle." Kyra muttered under her breath. She knew the second option was stupid and impossible, but she didn't necessarily dislike it.
Kyra hissed, whirling around and kicking up her leg as she turned. Her foot lit up on fire and caught Hans aroundv the chin. "If everyone knows now, there's no point in hiding it." she growled, mainly to Shill.
"Why should we? Our business is our own, not yours. Give us one reason why we should." Kyra ordered brusquely.
Kyra's cheeks began to turn pale reddish. Her grey eyes blazed silver fire. She took a step towards Hans. "Are you a witch?" she asked in a low, terrifying voice. She took another step towards her. "Is your life in danger because others think that myths are so horrible?" she took another step. The ends of her raven black hair began to smoke, and then they were lit on fire, the flames rising behind her head. Kyra took another step towards Hans. "Do you believe in myths, Hans? Do you think the crown has a right to kill us just because we're a bit different?!" her black hair was red now, engulfed in flames. Her fists were clenched and she was only inches away from Hans as she waited for an answer.
"I thought as much." Kyra's hair stopped burning and she backed up, looking up at Shill. "Let's go." she led the way out of the alley.
Kyra didn't say anything. But she did hold her hand up, her hand balled in a tight fist except for her middle finger, which stuck straight up. The motion was meant for Hans. Then she put it down.
Kyra narrowed her own eyes. "Waddaya mean? Spit it out Shill, before I hurt you." she ordered gruffly.
"You seriously make no sense. Ya know what, I don't care. I'm gonna fight back whether you're with me or not." Kyra told her friend.
((Pls see my charrie Info! It will explain more))
"Who we killing?" I asked, Hanging out of the window above. It might have seemed creepy for most people to do this, but I did it so often people were used to it.
I tossed a bundle into Kyra's arms, filled with cheese, bread, wine, grapes and blankets from the pantry in return for the Info.
I smile down at them humbly, and add, "I won't tell No-one."

((Joo got it! soz, forgot about that. Forgot to check over it :) ))
Alfredo twisted nimbly on the window-sill (amazing for a man of 56), and slipped down into the alley.
He made a sad face at the two girls, in fun way, and mumbled, "Pleeaase! And anyway, I've got a close hand with all the kingly biz. I could give you two something for it..."
He gave them a smile, with his head tilted.

"Nothing!" Alfredo says, turning away dramatically with his hands in the air.
"Nothing at all! I am just a lonely nobody that no one can trust! and I wouldn't, by any chance, be suggesting I would be in your debt if you were to slip me a few details. I am not inferring That I would be nice person to have in your debt, seeing as your eyes are on the Murdering trade."
He leans against a wall further up the ally, falling to his knees, and continues, sobbing,"AND I AM NOT BY ANY CHANCE PROCRASTINATING WHILE I WAIT FOR YOUR ANSWER!!!"

Kyra watched for a moment, then looked in the bundle. It wasn't that much food, but her eyes widened. As a street urchin, she hadn't seen this much food in years."Oh my God, Shill! There's food in here!" she exclaimed, too shocked to start eating.
Alfredo turned.
"I could give you more food?" He asked.
"Or weapons."
He began walking away Muttering, "Or... Spell books? You know, the ones that where s'posed to be burned... I like books, I don't like seeing them burnt..."

Kyra looked up at him, her dark eyes wide and hungry. "You mean, you have more?" she asked in surprise.
"I Work with the king. I am allowed to use whatever I wish from the pantry, as Long as Its nothing to expensive. It's part of my wage."
Alfredo beamed at her.
"Your welcome." He said smartly, before continuing to march away, whistling 'Ain't no sunshine' by Bill Withers.

((XD))Kyra reached into the bundle and pulled out a roll of bread and stuffed it into her mouth, struggling to chew the whole thing at once. "Its so good!" she exclaimed, her mouth still full.
Alfredo continued walking, but changed to whistling 'Why can't we be friends' by War.
{Thanks! :)}
"Yes." Said Alfredo Humbly, turning around.
"Yes." Said Alfredo Humbly, turning around.
"It's not my fault my parents threw me out on the street! Maybe if you visited me more often, you would have realized!" Kyra shot back.
Alfredo sat cross legged in the alley and watched.
