Caity Was wondering if those who have read could share their thoughts for those of us who are interested???

Aerykah It's been a while since I read this book. I remember that I did really like it, though. I also read book 2 --- didn't like it near as well. After about 3 or 4 tries, I finally just gave up on book 3.
Not saying you shouldn't give them a try... Tastes vary. You might love them. My Sis-in-law did.

Caity ok, thanks so much for the input, I really appreciate it!

English I read it about 3 years ago on a holiday to Scotland- I liked it at the time but soon realised that it was not very accurate or historically authentic and the villain could have stepped right out of a movie.

Caity lol ok thanks! :D
and you went to scotland?!?!?!? no way. jealous. lol

Caity and btw LOVE your pic!

English Yes my first time, we went right up into the highlands. I have written a review of the book, it's OK but I prefer my 'historical fiction' and fantasy more authentic.
As the the villain- he was simply annoying it's like the author thought giving him a name that sounded 'British' and a silly stereotypical accent would be enough.

Caity Oh wow. I dream of going to Scotland and England! :D its like my biggest wish and prayer! lol ;)
well thanks for the tips! ooh, that can't be good! lol villains have to be able to scare you to be true villains. lol or at least make you mad at them. lol ;)

Caity btw, have you ever heard of Chuck Black ?? he writes medieval christian fiction and is one of my fav authors EVER! his second series is best even though they were both amazing. its called Knights of Arrethtrae. :) I really liked Bentley, and Lady Carliss! :D

English As you may have seen onmy profile- I dont need to visit England I live there! I would recommend it for a visit though Lol!

Heard of him yes, are'nt his books more for teens? Tha baddie is Tahn is- well bad and does lots of things to make one mad at him but I just found the whole stereotyping thing irksome.

Rachel I absolutely LOVED the first book. The 2nd one was really good as well, but didn't quite have the same magic of the first one (I think the intro to a new character that I didn't like was why I didn't like it as much). Still read them both!!! The 3rd one however, was like, too much. There wasn't enough story left to make a whole 3rd book, yet the author did. So I just skim read it. :) But I definitely recommend the first two!
