I figured since I'm majoring in History (last year in college! Yay!) and taking literature classes for fun 75 books wouldn't be a problem at all. I also am always reading at least 1 book just for fun so hopefully I can meet this goal in 2009 :)

I'm listing the books as I complete them since I'm reading 3 at a time right now.1- Uncle Tom's Cabin- Harriet Beecher Stowe
Emily, would anyone have read Hesiod for fun?? I guess that's what Education is all about - expanding the mind and challenging us to read things we'd never choose on our own. . . still, give me a good cozy mystery any day!
14- Field of Honor- DL Birchfield(I actually finished this book about a week ago but forgot to list it!)

I loved it! It was different from the movie. It was more board based, explored the roots of the diamond industry and problems across West Africa. It was eye opening and written like a really long newspaper article so there wasn't much fluff.
38- No Place Like Home : Relationships and Family Life Among Lesbians and Gay Men- Christopher Carrington
