Close to the de Young. Lots of trails and stuff, but this park is also known for its pwater run offs and Asian inspired stuff in the mix. Nice and peaceful place to be.

Topher sat down on the grassy hill, hot dog in one hand and soft drink in the other. He set down his drink and took a bite of his hot dog, absentmindedly twirling one puff dangling off of his unicorn knit hat.(Looks like this http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing... :D)
((LOL!))
Chandler was riding her bike, her only mode of transportation in the city, looknig around as if everything distracted her. She passed by the hill, and while looking at a little family of ducks skimming across the watter to her left, swerved off the trail and into a little ditch. She flew over her handlebars, rolling into a pile of leaves, head hitting the ground several times. Her bike had propped itself up, the front tire spinning around, dormant, as she did not speak, buried face first in the leaves. The weird thing about it all, was thta she hadn't even screamed at all. It had not taken her by surprise.

It had not taken her by surprise.
"What the - " Topher caught some movement out of the corner of his eye and saw a bike wedged into the ground, one tire still spinning. Where there's movement, there's people, he thought, getting up to go investigate.((So should they know each other already or just be meeting now?))
(9I think they should just be meeting now))
Chandler pulled herself up, hands pressed firmly to the dirt ground as she sat up in an uncomfortable position. Her head was reeling, and all she could do was groan. She wasn't hurt too bad, just a few scratches on her face. Her hands took all the brute of the fall. They bled harshly, and stung from the impact, but she did not make a noise.

((Ok :D))Topher thought he heard something from the bushes and slowly, cautiously, he crept up to where the noise was coming from.
"WHAT THE HELL?" Topher screamed upon seeing the girl, always the drama queen. "ARE YOU OKAY? WHY AREN'T YOU SCREAMING FOR HELP! OH MY GOD!" He put his hands to his unicorn-clad head, a look of panic on his face.
She looked up at him, wide eyed and a little...shocked. "No, no. I'm fine...Really...Shhh, please stop screaming." She spoke so calmly and measured, as if this was a normal occurance for her. She had given up a long time ago on the elemt of surprise or even being surprised. Nothing shocked her now. She had seen it all. She looked down to her gashed hands and winced. They had been so pale and pretty before. The gravel embedded in there now didn't do her justice. She crawled over on her knees to him and rested her head on his shoulder. "Just me being ditzy. It doesn't hurt. Thank you for being concerned, though."
"It doesn't hurt?" Topher asked, calming down a bit. "Are you sure? Here, I have bandaids," he offered, reaching into his messenger bag that he'd slung over his shoulder. After rummaging around for a few seconds, he found a box of bandaids. "Voila. I hope you don't mind My Little Pony," he said a bit sheepishly.
She shook her head that, no, she didn't mind at all. Her face twisted up in pain for a brief second, before she took a deep breath and relaxed. She held out her hands for him to help her. She found that if she bent them or clasped them together in the slightest, it stung worse than she could possibly imagine. "Thank you,...?" She said, asking for his name indirectly.
"You're welcome," he said, back to his cheerful self. "Oh! Right. My name is Christopher, but you can call me Topher." He held out his hand to shake, then pulled it away. "Right, never mind." He opened the box of bandaids and pulled out a few. He unwrapped one and began to put it on her, placing the soft part where the wound was.
She let out a little groan of pain, the first sign that the numbness of the fall was wearing off. "Topher, eh...?" She said, slowly. "I'm Chandler...Chandler...M-Moore..." She smiled despite the burning sensation and closed her eyes.
"Are you gonna pass out? Are you gonna faint?! THIS IS REALLY BAD! OH MY GOD!" Topher began to frantically bandage her hand.
"Topher?" She said, eyes wide. "You need to calm down. You aren't helping my stress level in the slightest." She gripped his hand with her own, despite how much it hurt.
"Stress... level?" Topher narrowed his eyes. "Are you one of those hippie people? Can you see my aura? What color is it?" He looked upwards at an invisible thing floating over his head. "Am I red? Or orange? Green?"
She rolled her eyes, but smiled. "It's a figure of speech. Now you're just making me laugh." she giggled slightly.
Topher laughed a little too, then stood up and offered her a hand. "Come on. Let's get your bike. Were you riding with anyone? No, of course not, they would have helped you. Right? Oh my God, were you riding with an enemy or something? Maybe they planned it this way!" Topher's eyes widened, and he looked off at some spot in the distance. "Ever since you were in middle school, she's hated you for some unknown reason. So imagine your surprise when she contacted you over email and wanted to meet up! You agreed, deciding that you could put your differences behind you, but little did you know that she was plotting to ruin you and your hands all along!" Topher finished with a flourish.
She smiled. That was close enough. She had been running from someone, a girl, of course. She shook her head and got up, leaning on Topher for support. "Leave my bike there. I dont really want the thing anymore, really." she looked to see his spot on the hill. "Mind if I...join you for a while? I'm in no condition to ride again..."

He created a whole backstory and everything!!))
((Glad i could amuse you (: ))"Sure, of course," Topher replied enthusiastically. "Until you feel better." He eyed her bike. "You're sure you don't want it? Someone will probably snatch it up if we leave. There's no changing your mind later when it comes to something like this," he said dramatically.
Chandler shook her head. "Leave it. I dont really...want it...bad memories..." She started walking up the hill to the spot, stumbling slightly
"Wait!" Topher yelled, even though she wasn't that far away from him. He ran after her and quickly caught up. "You seem so mysterious. 'Bad memories.' You seem so cool and calm, too. We should be friends." He smiled. "That sounded so pedo-y. We should be friends," he repeated, this time using his best pedophile voice. "Anyways, we should be friends. The friends that I have now are always telling me to calm down and that I need to stop drinking coffee, but I don't even drink THAT much coffee, and yeah." He nodded his head emphatically.
She could help but chuckle to herself at this boys wild and irratic behavior. "I don't have many friends to begin's with, so sure i'll be yours. Sit down and tell me about yourself, Mr. Topher"
"I LOVE cats!" he blurted out, plopping down next to his stuff. "I also love candy and baking. I LOOOOOVE! LOVE LOVE LOVE! To bake things for people." He nodded. "That's pretty much it. Baking and cats. That's my life. But not baking cats. Or cats baking. Ooooh! Wait! Do you think you could train cats to bake? Probably not. But what if you could?" Topher's eyes widened as he looked at her questioningly. "So what do you like to do?"
Shehadnt heard his question. "Topher?" She was a very blunt, straight to the point person, and she could barely keep her own question in. "Topher, are you gay?" She asked, totally serious and without sarcasm or menace. She sounded...heartfelt
Topher stared at her for a second, then burst into laughter. "Hoo!" he cried, holding his sides. "Is it really that obvious? Was it the hat? Or the baking?" He smiled, then adopted a more serious expression. "Really though, I guess technically I'm bi. But yes, I prefer guys."
She smiled to herself, blushing furiously. "Its not incredibly obvious..." She looked down at herself, evaluating her hands. "Is it obvious that im strictly lesbian?" It really wasnt. She wasnt the stereotypical looking 'dyke'. She had soft, pretty features, just a hard expression. She had seen a lot in her years. "Im like the anti-gay girl, huh?"
((keh Im already falling in love with topher myself. omg I cant stop laughing reading this storyline guys!!))
((Sooo are we going to do the Josh/George/Topher love triangle kind of thing? Well it's not really a love triangle unless we made George and Topher long lost friends or something lol))"Oh my God, honey, if you want to know who to ask if it's obvious that you're a lesbian, I am NOT the person. My 'gaydar' has been broken since BIRTH. Surprising, huh, since I myself racket up a BEEP BEEP BEEEEP on everyone's quote-unquote 'gaydar'? But it's true. You know what I say? Like who you like, and if they don't like you back, then that's, like, their problem." Topher guffawed. "But it is!"
Chandler laughed loudly, shaking her head. "You're amazing, Christopher!" She had never been so entertained in her life.

((Yeah josh/george, josh/topher. they are gonna be at the vet soon so you can come in then with your pet. so just wait until you see one of us post there!))
((Okay but I'm just gonna wait until he leaves here because I don't really wanna be in two places @ once lol so it might be a while, idk, we'll see where the RP takes us :D))"So I've been told," he said, tossing his unicorn-hat-pom-poms over his shoulders in a faux-conceited way. "No, I'm just kidding. So tell me about YOU," he said, leaning towards her in a conversational way. "What does Chandler like to do for fun?"
"I..." Fun? That word didnt feel like part of her vocabulary. "I dont really...do 'fun' things..." She was a very practical person. She had to be, growing up where she did. "I just got here, so I dont really...have any friends..."
"YAY! That means I'm your first San Francisco friend. That means that I am always going to be special to you," Topher said, nodding wisely. "I'm always going to be... in your heart," he said, now speaking in a whisper. He placed a hand on his chest over his heart and nodded again. He was silent for a second before breaking into a wide smile and saying loudly, "Soooo if you don't have friends or fun, let's go have BOTH! Well... you can't really 'have' friends... I mean you can HAVE friends, but I meant MAKE friends... you can HAVE fun, but not friends. I mean, I meant MAKE friends, which is totally different from HAVE friends. Haha, that was such unproper grammar. If I was a Word document I would be underlined in GREEN!" he said, singing the last word. "Okay, try this again. If you don't have friends or fun, let's go make BOTH!" He furrowed his brow, still not satisfied. "Wait... 'make fun'? That sounds kind of dirty. Okay, whatever. You know what I mean."
She tsked and shook her head. "It's not that easy, really. Not when you're me. I mean, I had to literally fall off a bloody bike and skin my hands to get you to notice me, and I didn't even do it on purpose! Imagine me making friemds the 'normal' way. I shutter to think of the outcome... "
"Not when you're with ME!" Topher sang out. "I attract friends like honey attracts flies. As long as you're with me, I bet we can get you tons of friends. Unless you don't want friends. We could just have fun instead. Unless you have to be somewhere. Then I could take you there. Or we could have fun. Or make friends. Sooooo yeah. Whatever Chandler wants to do!" Topher exclaimed, waving his hands in the air excitedly.
She wanted to furiously hug him, tell him how much all this meant to her, but words wouldn't form. She smiled and nodded, inching closer to him before she threw her arms around his middle. For a second, she thought she was going to cry. She hadn't ever hugged anyone like this, and she hadn't given a hug since before things went from bad to worse at home. "Thank you, Topher..."
"Awwww," Topher said happily. "I made you happy! Hooray! You are very welcome," he replied, hugging her back. "So I take it that you want to make friends?"
She nodded, still holding onto him. A singular tear slipped, but that was all. "Of course I do. As long as you do, too. Heaven knows i've had enough one-sided friendships..."
"I promise that I'll be a good friend!" Topher said, trying to sound encouraging. "Friendship is definitely a two-sided thing. I have sooo many friends and I have had a LOT of practice! You know what they say, practice makes perfect. If we spend a day meeting new people and making friends, you'll be soooo good at making friends." He grinned. "I sound like an infomercial. Or a cheesy educational program."
"You do, yes" She said, quite envious of his friendship status
((:-o I didn't reply immediately and TOTALLY forgot!! Sorry!!))Topher detected a hint of hostility in her tone, but ignored it and stood up, tugging on her hand. "Come on, let's go!"
"Go where...?" she said slowly.
((Aw, its okay))
((Aw, its okay))
"Uh... how about where I work? Let's go to the candy store!" he suggested. "They have AWESOME saltwater taffy and I can use my employee discount!"
Chandler smiled, shocked again by his enthusiasm. "Sounds smashing. Care to show me the way?"
"Sure!" He stood up, gesturing grandly towards the path. "We can just get in my car and I can drive us there! Because it's sort of far. Not like SUPER far but kind of far. Far-ish. And my car is not a big white van." He laughed at his own joke. "I say that because I just realized how creepy I might sound. Oh well. My car is the purple smartcar with the rainbow on the side. Go, rainbow people!" he declared, raising his soft drink in the air proudly as though it was a flag at a protest.
Chandler raised her imaginary drink up, since she didn' have one, just like him. "You're crazy, Topher. But I like it. A lot." She looped her arm around his middle, leaning in amd missing his shoulder blade. Her body ached from the fall, but she didn't mention her pain.
