Personality:Candice has always been picked on, but she stays with a good heart. She's kind, but yet mean and arguing at times. You better get on her good side, the again she can't stick up for herself.

History:Candice has been sort of normal. She doesn't know her parents, she was born in a foster home and lived there since she can remember. She has always wanted a brother or sister to stand up for her in school.

Personality: Katelyn’s fun, curious, and loving. She has a fairly high tolerance level and is happy to laugh at even the dumbest jokes. Just to make others feel better about themselves. It’s hard for her to say no and she definitely doesn’t feel good when she manages. Unless of course it’s past her comfort level.

Drifting is new to her. It comes easily just as it does for everyone else, but it’s still new. Seeing Wonderland, seeing Oz, seeing everything is just amazing in her eyes! She want’s to be a writer when she grows up, and seeing these things just blows her mind. It puts color and life into her writing, when she has time for it is that is.

History: Katelyn lives with her brother and not her parents. Not her Aunt and Uncle. Not her grandparents. Her brother. And that’s because when she was only a year old, making her brother five, her parents were killed in a car accident. Her brother and her went to live with their Aunt and Uncle. Only when he turned the age of 18 he took her and himself to someplace else. Another country. Arriving in America was tuff, especially when she went to school the first time. It didn’t make any sense. The school system was different then the British one. She’s held onto her accent just to remember…

Not long after arriving in America she got in a car accident and brain damage washed over her. Yet, nothing really felt any different. But often times he brother will ask questions involving the past. She doesn’t remember anything about what he’s talking about. It’s only a matter of time before her death is upon her… Both a curse and a gift she found that she could drift. Escape from Earth and find peace in another place. One problem, the cure hasn’t exactly come to her yet. She has no idea what to look for. So… she doesn’t.

Personality: She's very sweet and caring. Her appearence turns guys off and girls think she's even more of a freak. She doesn't mind as long as they don't talk crap. Minnie is a fierce fighter and can hurt anyone she wants. She is very quiet and doesn't talk to anyone. This is why she doesn't have any friends. It doesn't matter to her, she prefers to be alone.

History: Her father died long ago, right after she was born. No one knows how or why. His dead body was found, it wasn't a murder though. Her mother, Mable, raised her with no help. Minnie was often a rebel and left all the time. She was always caught but didn't care. She loved traveling throughout the dimensions. Minnie was in a terribl accident though, at the age of 13. She broke every bone in her body and now has scars all over her arms. She doesn't hide them.

Personality: Cody is sweet and caring. He tried not to bother most people so stays alone. He loves reading and writing. He tries to help but usually messes things up. Which makes him very awkward. He likes being awkward and thinks its slightly funny. Cody tried to help anyone in need and is very NERDY and emo.

History: :  His father is a mechanic, while his mom is a second grade school teacher. He was supposed to have a sister, but his mother mis-carriged. The truth is his mom had an affair with another man. No one but him knows, and he wants it to stay that way. When he was 13 his mother tried to commit suicide. He stopped her, but was traumatized.

He is just closed and harsh to those who try to open him...BUT if you saw him with all his family *point*(foster home) you will see that in reality he is a sweet, kind, caring, silly(at times) young person. He cares for all his family and is immensely protective of them. He likes little kids, and would probably get a trophy for best big brother.

History: Orphaned at birth, as his father had died in the war, and his mother had died giving birth. He was taken to a foster home as a child, and that is where he always goes back to.

Personality:March jokes around with everyone. He loves making others smile. Though not only being a joker, March is also very loyal to his friends and will do everything to protect them.

History:Being an unwanted pregnancy never is a good way to start off, and when your parents don't find out you're already in the works until its too late for an abortion, and an illegal one at that, you can only hope that you will be born into a lot of love. Unfortunately, Marchel Zalphra didn't have that luxury. His parents were high schoolers who apparently weren't paying any attention to the single most repeated line in health class: USE A CONDOM. Being just seventeen, neither one of them were jumping with joy at the baby's arrival, and although they attempted at making a relationship out of it, things just didn't work out between the two. Left alone, March's mother, Stephanie, brought a baby boy to her parent's home, where she raised him for the majority of his childhood. He loved his grandparents dearly, and looked up as them as if they were his biological parents.

Personality: Ryder is quiet and reserved. He is patient and knows when to strike. His quietness and abilitly to hide easily and conceal himself for others. He can be quite mischievous. Ryder is also very clever and uses his brains more than his powers. One of the main reasons he was chosen to be House Captain. Ryder is also a very responsible and orderly young man, with natural leadership skills. He talks quite a bit and has many friends.

History: He was born to a teenage mother, Lynn Mitch who was 15 and a half when she had Ryder. It wasn't her fault, she was taken advantage of at a party. Her parents couldn't accept the child and wanted Lynn to abort but she refused and they kicked her out. She dropped out of high school and did everything she could to provide for her son. So Ryder grew up with a hard life. But he helped as much as he could and was responsible with any task given. Now he moved out and lives by himself in an apartment for college but still helps his mom as much as possible.
He first found out about his drifting abilities when he was 10. He was looking through a picture book of Alice in wonderland and wished he could be there and see every one. And just like that he was there. Ever since then he goes to other dimensions as much as possible.

Personality: Spencer, as his picture reveals, is a joker. He has a joke or cheesy one liner for almost every occasion and is always entertaining. He's an optimist and tries to make the best out of life. When things get difficult though, he is determined and is a good leader. He is confident without being cocky and always has the interest of others at heart.

History: Spencer grew up with his parents and younger sister Amiee. He was the typical overprotective older brother and would do absolutely anything for his sister. They were a generally happy family until his father died in a car crash. Spencer and Aimee were both in the car, but neither of them were injured. Her father's death hit Aimee hard and she became reckless and impulsive. She eventually ran away from home and it became Spencer's job to find her. She's been missing for almost three years now.

Gender: (ya know what, why cant I be descriptive with gender??) Mary is most assuredly, to all her knowledge, the doctors, her mother, her father, and everyone else, a female.

Personality: Mary has a very hard time sitting still. She had ADHD, and is crazy and she loves to have a good time. She is very outgoing, loves to talk, had no trouble making new friends OR making people think she is a freak. She really doesn't care if people think she is an idiot. She is gonna live life the way she was made, even if it makes people uncomfortable.

Family: Y'all ready for this? She had 9 siblings, 3 sisters, 6 brothers and her two parents. You may ask "why so many?" the simple fact is, she is homeschooled.

History: Mary is the second to youngest of 10 children, then youngest is a 10 year old boy named Reggie. She had a relitively normal life. Nothing odd about it, other then her enormous family and it's liking for music. Yes, their family is quite musical, with its own huge music room, and they have fequent jamming sessions. Here comes the not so surprising part, her family is Catholic. Why isn't it surprising? Well, one, she is homeschooled, and two, look at the size of that family.

Other: She is slowly inching her way to an impending fight that will leave her wounded and she will die. And be all dead like. Like totally dead. So soulmate, you betta come.

Personality: Elspeth is a somewhat rebellious type of girl, forever getting herself into trouble and being blamed for everything. She has a kind personality and loves meeting new people, however, becomes shy at the worst of times. Elspeth is extremely caring and hates seeing anybody - whether they are human or not - in pain.

History: Elspeth is the youngest of six children, having 4 older sisters and a younger brother. She was born and grew up in England in quite a wealthy family. Her family has always had a love for anything to do with animals, so Elspeth found herself among close to every creature on the planet, and most still live with the Moores. Elspeth has always had a love for riding and she has three horses of her own, her favourite being Harley. Elspeth first found out about her Drifting abilities when she was ten years
old.

Age: 17
Gender: female

Personality: Kensley is quite upbeat and is known to be somewhat of a smart aleck. Her mouth often gets her in trouble for speaking from her heart. To her the world is not black and white as her father dictated to her, it's all sorts of grey. She has a fighting spirit, is extremely stubborn and almost never asks for help. Kensley fiercely protects those she cares about. She is also ebullient, mischievous, somewhat reckless, sarcastic, intelligent but innocent, loyal like a dog, impulsive, and cynical at times but while she is all these things Kensley is some what of an introvert. While she'll talk endlessly with those she is close to, she has trouble getting out in the world and meeting new people. She has a shy side, one that quivers inwardly at the thought of being in the middle of a crowd for an extended period of time. She can be serious, though her maturity ranges at times from the giddiness of a 12 year old to the weary wisdom of an old one who has perhaps seen enough of this twisted world.

Apperance: Kensley has golden red hair that hangs in smooth waves to just above her mid-back. Her long hair is always parted to the right side and she is constantly tucking her bangs behind her ears. She has sweet brown eyes that are the color of honey around her pupil and darken to a chocolate brown ring around her iris. Her dad calls them bedroom eyes. Her skin is a pale cream due to her irish heritage and she has a smattering of pale freckles across the bridge of her nose. Kensley is fairly average height wise, 5'5" and she has an athletic figure, though it goes to waste due to the fragile state of her lungs. She's been told by her family that she most resembles her mother.

Family: Kensley lives alone with her father, Malachi. Her mother passed away when she was 15 from the "illness". She has two elder brothers, Cassio and Faolyn who travel together around different dimensions searching for God knows what. As she grew up her brothers doted on her and stuck by her side through the worst of times it is that spurred her to admire them as she does now. Her father is 46, Cassio 19 and Faolyn 22.

History: Kensley grew up quite normally until her world was shattered by her mother's death. Now as she picks up the slivers of her life she struggles, mourning the loss of a parent and fighting the illness that took her mother away, Scleroderma (terrible doesn't even begin to describe this disease http://voices.yahoo.com/coping-sclero...) Her case is premature and would be mild if only it hadn't started attacking her lungs. What she doesn't know is that the reason her brothers are searching the dimensions so desperately is to find a cure to save Kensley from her mother's fate.

Other: She secretly loves to play the cello, she keeps one in a huge case under her bed. She named her cello Freddy. :D

Charles got his mothers good looks and his fathers good body. He is a mix of Native American and English. He has the English accent but the native american complextion. His stands at a height of 6'3" with a very toned and muscular build.
He has light blue eyes like his mother and a stong jaw line like his father. Thick dark brown hair and full pink lips.

{Personality}Charles is a very serious man when it come to business. He is hard working, determind and can be a bit of a hard ass at times. But when he is off the job, he is very laid back, smooth talker and can get any girl he wants. Charming, witty and sexy, he knows all the right things to say and says them at all the right times. Contrary to popular belief he is not a player, he is a one woman man and will always be that way.
{History} he grew up in London with his mother and father on a large estate near the Atlantic. He was always a smart boy but he was also very... aggressive. His Father saw that in him at a very early age and sent him off to Millitary school.
He cam back a changed man and a very structerd man as well. He then left off for America and went to college at Howard in Washington D.C where, when he graduated, got offered a job working for this company.

Personality: Awkward with people, she often sends up saying the wrong thing, especially to people she likes. That's why she doesn't seem to have very many friends. She get nervous easily, and she tends to talk quickly and sometimes a little too much when she gets nervous. She's kind of a tomboy, and is more comfortable in an oversized shirts and some ripped jeans than in a dress.
She's more than a little bit stubborn. Even she has her pride and she never backs down from a dare, no matter how ridiculous. Quick tempered, she's every much a hothead as her flaming red hair suggests. She tries to keep it in though, but when she snaps, she really snaps.
She's got a small secret. She's scared of thunder. She has no idea why, it's just been that way since she was little. It embarrasses her though, so she doesn't tell anyone about it.

Family: Her father, and four brothers.

History: She's the youngest of five, and the only girl in her family. Her mother died when she's was still very young, but she's not lonely since she's doted on by her family. However, she's become very boyish since she didn't have anyone to teach her to be girlier. Because of this, she was often teased by 'friends' and her awkwardness at talking didn't manage to do much to clear up the situation when she somehow managed to piss everyone off. Her temper and fists only made everything worse when she snapped and got into a fight with five other student. Because of that, she was expelled and sent to a school for 'juvenile delinquents' where she picked up a few tricks from some friends she made there who didn't care how she acted. She realized her more daring side after a game of truth or dare and absolutely adored the game, loving the rush it gave her. After some time, she became able to 'drift' to other dimensions, and she's been exploring them for so long she feels like she's been able to do it forever.

- Astrid is no star, despite her name. She may shine, but in a very way that blows fire more than twinkles. Aka; Hot headed, stubborn with a lot of pent up anger.
-Definitely not someone that you’d like to piss off, but she generally knows when to keep her anger in check.
- Sarcastic and not afraid to fight back.
-Astrid’s closed off. She isn’t much of a joking type, and when she jokes it’s more her throwing an insult in your face with a sugar coated smile.
-Absolutly hates it when she’s called anything but her name. E.g. Sweetheart, Darling, Dear, Dollface, kid, babe/baby, etc.
-She can be a bit of a bitch, but it’s not like she cares.
-A cusser when she feels the need to throw her stress away best she can.
-Mostly a loner, but doesn’t have a problem talking.
-Untrusing of... everyone.

Family: None that she talks to.
History: Astrid’s had a pretty touch life to say the least. When she was younger her parents had their hands full because of her snarky comments, though they were mostly teasing comments. And because this wasn’t what they had hoped for in a daughter, their exact words to each other when it was thought she wasn’t listening, they adopted her brother.

Her brother is a year older than her and as much as he tried to get to know her, she remained closed off and distant. Astrid, in fact, didn’t want to get to know this person that she was forced to call a brother. Or ‘one of the family’ as her parents called him as well. She was just Astrid, not part of he family at all. Slowly she became more and more resistant. And one day she snapped.

Eyes dark and heart a loathing abyss she turned on her parents, shrieking in pain and hurt her fingers closed around a knife. Sharp and pointed it slid easily into her father’s chest. Everything had seemed to go silent as the sickening thud of her anger hit the floor. Her father was dead. And as much as she wanted to run from what she’d done, her feet felt stuck to the tiled floor.

Her brother, shooting hoops with one of his best friends ran in at the ringing sound of her scream. And seeing the knife in her hand stopped in his tracks. Nothing. He did nothing but drop the basketball and moved over to her. Her. Not her father. And feeling the gentle feeling of his arms around him she let herself just stand there in his arms. Before the anger seeped deeper into her, grabbing hold as she shoved him away. Only one look was exchanged between them before she ran.

Where she was going to run to she didn’t know, but she found herself walking down the streets night by night, hiding from no one but her family. The cops hadn’t even come after her, nothing had been said. And for that she isn’t sure what to make of her brother. Or where he is for that matter.

But two years later, living on the streets she found herself shot and in the hospital, lying in a bed, not going to be able to pay off anything that they were to give her. She was dying. She is dying. And her only way out is the one thing that hurts her the most. Love.

Personality: A nice, caring sweet person, that will help you through all of your troubles. She is always there to back you up, and will always listen. she puts everyone first, and is an amazing friend. She brings you out of your worst, and is always always ALWAYS going to be there for you whether its for financial aid, to cheer you up, or just to give great advice and if you meet Lucy, be her friend, no matter how crazy she seems.

Personality: Aurora keeps herself cocooned in a nice thick mental blanket, never allowing herself to get too attached. Underneath the solid mask she keeps up with the handy thing called sarcasm, she is actually rather caring. Once she opens up to someone, she goes all in. Aurora is extremely protective of those she cares about and is definitely willing to throw a knife or two at any threats. Her past has heavily effected the person she is today.
Random fact about her: she's a huge music junkie. It's like her drug.

She has an eyebrow piercing above one of her steel gray eyes. A Monroe piercing also occupies the space above her upper lip. (Because ya know, the more piercings, the better xD) Her hair is naturally a dark auburn color underneath all the dye.

Family: Thane, her older brother, 20 to be exact (Might possibly make him a character but I'm not really sure yet.)

History: Up until she was 16, Aurora was living with both her parents, like any normal teen. But unlike most, her father was both a druggie and a violent alcoholic. Her mother was more of a shadow in her life then anything, most of the time too scared to speak up against Daddy Dearest. She was used to getting swatted around at the house, until he wrapped his huge hands around her throat for a little too long. Thane stepped in, gained legal custody, and now she's currently living with him.

Other: *She now has a huge fear of suffocation.* Aurora took up self defense classes after moving out. Saying she has developed quite a knack for it would be an understatement.

Gender: F
Personality: Jennifer's sweet, and adorable at times. But she's usually stubborn, always standing up for herself, independent, and impatient, and mean at times. But Jennifer's usually a really nice girl, thoughtful, and always thinking of others. She loves her red hair since she says it makes herself unique. She doesn't like her brother most of the time, saying he's annoying and a brat although she's younger, and she's a bunch more talkative. But Jen is always there for you, loving animals, and always a sweet girl.

Family: Her mother's dead when she was 9, her father disappeared when she was 10. All she has is her brother now.
History: Jennifer remembers her mother; red hair just like her, pale, and pretty as much as she could remember. Her mother died, and Jennifer went mad. Locked herself in her room, didn't go to school for a month, before she finally went good, calmed and nice then. She missed her mother a lot, and went even more mad when her father disappeared. She cursed at her brother, saying they could have done something, and locked herself in her room again, but it was summer so she didn't go to school so yeah. Jen hates talking to people about this, and can't stand even the thought of it.

Face/Body: Marissa has a slender body, but she’s not incredibly skinny either, she in fact, likes food. Her skin is somewhat tan from spending a lot of time outside, within dimensions, so on. Her nose is sloped into a cute nose, and her lips are just about the same color of her skin, until she puts her makeup on that is. Family: Marissa lives with her brother (aged 20), who is a dimension drifter as well, but he refuses to drift, he doesn’t like the feeling of his stomach flipping in his gut. Marissa tries to convince him he was the only one to feel that, but… well, she’s not good at conniving him, only winning the arguments.

History: When Marissa was 9, her brother 13, their parents split up, neither of them wanted to commit to them and they both ended up being sent to their evil Aunt halfway across the planet, in London. Their Aunt hated them, and for the longest time (About 4 years that is) they put up with it, because they had nowhere else to go. Finally their Aunt slapped Marissa clear across the face, turning it red as her hair is today (it was blonde back then). Her brother got in a fight with her, it lasted nearly hours before he was finally able to come and let her cry of his shoulder. She had been 13. He managed to get a hold of a phone one night when their Aunt was asleep, passed out more like, and called child services. They were taken under the wing of child services for a year before her brother turned eight-teen. He took her away from it all, moving back to America where no memories lived for them and settled them both down.

The net year… Marissa discovered her powers; turns out he already knew.

Personality: Celia has always been the hippie of the bunch. She seems, very down to Earth and carefree. She has also always been the quirky one, with her daisy-fied glasses and her fun hair coloring. Inside Celia is severely OCD, but she hides it well until something really puts her brain in a tiz, but when youre normally around her she's really fun.

History: Celia has had a lovely, quiet and artsy life. But there were rough times like when her father moved to Sweden and left her and her mother stranded with half of the money they used to have, but they managed, they downsized and economized. Celia only has one big secret, she's dying. Not obviously, or clearly but ever since she was 11 she could feel it, her body slowly shutting down, but when she drifted it all went away. So she goes there, with her mother's permission of course, and has fun.

Gender: Male

Personality: Thane is probably one of the nicest, most laid back guys you'll ever come across. He tries to go out of his way to help people, even if more then half the time it goes south for him. Though he's quick to laugh and even quicker to smile, he doesn't allow many people to get too close. He knows better then to rely on anyone but himself, and occasionally his sister. The protective streak runs in both siblings blood, as well as the random love for music. Despite what his appearance may suggest, he has never touched drugs and alcohol- his biggest fear is turning out like his father.

His eyes are the same as Aurora's: a deep steel gray color, though that's about where the physical similarities end. Snake bites take up his bottom lip. Besides the two shown in the picture, another tattoo proclaiming "Life" at one angle and "Death" at another is inked onto his other forearm.

Family: Aurora, his 18 year old sister

History: He grew up learning how to hide the bruises. Living with his dead-beat of a father and silent mother is the main reason for his self reliance. The one incident he will never forget was when his father was as high as a kite and tried to drown him in the bathtub. His mother, having a moment of clarity, managed to come to life enough to pull him off Thane. As soon as he turned 17, Thane filed for emancipation and was able to move out. He became Aurora's legal guardian after their father' abuse was taken too far and she ended up in the hospital. He no longer communicates with them at all, completely shutting out any and all family besides his sister.

Gender: Female

Personality: Allix is the very definition of 'wild child.' She can be sweet just as easily, if not easier, as sarcastic. But unlike most, she is a complete open book, wearing her emotions on her face like it's a profession. She is really athletic, a former lacrosse player as well as basketball and soccer. Allix is also the type to be seen dancing in the grocery isles in her socks, or being kicked out of a store for tipping over a shelf. Her curiosity often gets her into trouble.

Her hair is a somewhat golden, the lightest parts nearly ash white and the darkest a chestnut color. Allix's eyes are a color lost somewhere between blue and green. Most of the time, she keeps them concealed behind sunglasses.

Family: She doesn't know her real family- they left her at a bus stop when she was 9.

History: Allix stayed in the foster care system for a year after she was found at the bus station. She was adopted when she turned 10, right before she realized what she was. The family is an average one, relatively nice with two other children, both sons, besides her. The fact that she's a drifter has kept her apart from them and, though she allows herself to occasionally get close to her peers, she keeps herself firmly set apart from the parents who adopted her.

Other: She dislocated her hip while playing football with her 'brothers' a few months back. Allix now walks with a slight limp, not noticeable unless you really pay attention. Allix also has a slight British accent.

Personality: Sarcastic and fun, loves to make jokes and make fun of everything: including himself. He loves the different worlds and thinks his "power" is amazing. A bit dark, moody, broods sometimes.

History: His mom was the only one who raised him, as his dad ran away before he was born. She was good caretaker but is unable to pay his medical bills without working three jobs. He's sick often and has a very weak immune systemm, and back then it was even worse.

Other: He has an extreme aversion to sharp and pointy things, like needles or nails, because he fell on a huge nail when he was younger and stilll has a bad scar on his abdomen.

Personality: is quiet, emotionless, studious, and sarcastic. She can always come up with a witty remark. cool and calm, even in desperate situations. She is, however, also the most emotionally-restrained. secretive and distant. The reason for her emotional restraint is due to the adverse effects her emotions have on her drifting powers.

Family: She was abandonded as a child.
History: When only a few weeks old Luka was abandonded on a Tibetian temples steps, no one knowing how she got there. She was taken in by the monks and raised, thus she is more intuned with the feel of the earth and the interdimentional flows and the emotional flows within people thanks to meditation. She was trained by another drifted in order to do this. But it comes at a price since her powers are now openly effected by not only her emotions but the others around her. If she is under stress theres no telling where she'll end up or when.
