Candice walked around, she ran her hand across the tree. She breathed softly. Wishing she was somewhere else.
Jennifer's eyes flickered, her red hair falling beside her face. "Cool," she whispered walking around. "You coming or what?" a voice said above her, as her brother Logan grinned at her, climbing up a tree. "I'll go with or what," she grinned back, walking around, but still near the area her brother was in.
Aurora's body fizzled into view as she came back from the other dimension she'd just been in, blinking her grey eyes into focus. Her brightly colored hair seemed to scream out against the dim, muted background that was the trees. She inhaled sharply, taking in the clean forest air before shoving her choppy layers back. Positioning her Ipod headphones back in her ears, she hummed along with the music while weaving through the trees.
Jennifer hopped around, her red hair bouncing with her before stopped sharply. "Nothing." she said to herself before walking again. "Don't get lost," Logan called to her.
Aurora continued walking through the trees, twigs crunching loudly beneath her Osiris shoes. The music pulsed from her headphones' speakers. Something red flashed across her vision in the distance and she blinked, her feet coming to a halt, along with her humming.
"I'll be back," Jennifer smiled at her brother who had hopped down the tree, walking around himself, as Jennifer ran to trees, inspecting them, her pink blouse flying with her.
Aurora's steel colored eyes followed the trail of red and she hesitantly pulled out her headphones. She reached back and yanked up her sweatshirt's hood, hoping it'd be less conspicuous. As oppose to her flashing beacon of hair. "'S the one damn probably with having pink hair," She thought to herself.
Jennifer hopped on a tree branch, staring out, her red hair flying behind her, before she hopped down.
Figuring 'What the hell?' Aurora stepped closer toward where she saw the smear of red. Trying to ignore her self-preservation instincts, she shook off her hood again. "We just gonna stare at each other all day or what?" She called out in an easy voice, keeping her tone light. Her eyes flicked toward the surrounding trees before spotting another figure too.
Jennifer heard the voice of Aurora before finding her. "No, we won't." she said, fingering her red hair. "Have you seen my brother? He disappeared." she asked, but Logan was hiding in a tree, right above her, reaching his hand out to steal Jennifer's hat, placing one finger on his lips, when he saw Aurora.
She smiled slightly, the act transforming her whole face into something less cold looking. "Good, 'cause I've heard in order to have an actual conversation, you need to legitly converse." A slight breeze brushed the blue-violet tips of her hair back behind her shoulders. The music continued to blare from her headphones. "Erm," Her eyes raked over the trees for the figure she'd just seen. "No, I don't think so. Sorry."
"Of course." Jennifer grinned, adjusting her hat slightly, as Logan tried to reach for it, smiling at Aurora slightly for keeping him a secret. "My brother's usually hiding somewhere in the trees," she chatted as Logan watched as she finished adjusting her hat, taking out his own, which was just simply gray, a color she hated, and just for fun, aimed his position to switch hats.
Aurora's eyes flicked over to the trees again, her eyebrow piercing glittering as her eyebrows drew together. She looked back over at the girl, not sure whether to mention anything personal or not. Shrugging, she said, "My brother's not much of a nature lover, sadly." She shifted on her feet, all the different colors of her appearance clashing against each other.
"Oh. My brother loves nature." Jennifer rolled her eyes, as Logan silently switched hats, taking her's.
She smiled slightly, her Monroe piercing flashing. "My brother's definitely. . . . . different." Aurora laughed, her steal gray eyes reflecting the light as they sparkled. Her eyes flickered up to the trees, seeing a hand take the stranger's hat off and switch it.
"That's cool. Is he here?" Jennifer asked. "I'm here." Logan said after putting her hat on a tree branch.
Aurora rolled her own eyes, the same color as said brother. "I have no idea- I can never keep up with that kid." She smirked, imagining his response to that statement, which would be something along the lines of: 'Kid'? Coming from the girl who's barely legal? She glanced up, hearing a new voice. "Join the party."
"Hmm.." Jennifer said thoughtfully, brushing her red hair by her fingers as Logan swung his legs sitting on a tree branch. "Doesn't look much of a party no?" he grinned.
"Thane practically lives in another dimension ." She smirked at her own joke. Laughing, Aurora leaned her shoulder against a neighboring tree as she looked up at the guy. The wind blew the tips of her mermaid colored hair across her face and she absently brushed it back. "Never judge a book by its cover, right?"
