The Tea Party~ Mad as a Hatter

Alice sat at the table, and drank sown tea. Hatter was off in the woods while the others were at Mamoreal. She liked coming here. It was fun being with friends and nice when alone. She frowned, wondering where a certain kitty was.

Cheshire padded out of the tulgey wood, his tail flickering above him on his way out. "Allllice." he drawled, a wide and oddened grin spreading over his face as his head cocked to the side like of owls. "TO what do I owe the divine pleasure of your... apperance?" he purred.

Alice giggled,"Ches!" He never scared her or seemed odd. Hanging with Hatter and the March Hare makes you used to certain things. She smiled,"I was just sitting wondering where you were. How are you?"

[Btw, I changed her appearance. More modern now]

"Puuuurfect," he drawled honestly, though he intended no pun he continued to grin, whiskers visiably seen with the shade of nightly woods behind him. He slunk forward on his paws and hopped up onto the table, moving elegantly between broken teacups and sugar as well as pastrays and plates to go along with them before he reached her. "And you, dear Alice?"

Alice giggled,"I've been great. I miss you." She pet his fur and then asked,"Can you shift o your human form?" She asked loving to see his hair as a human.

"Oh but dear," he purred, his fur smoothing under her fingers as he stepped a paw closer. "I like when you stroke my fur." his grin almost frowned in a puss and boots face.

Alice smiled,"Okayy then. You look adorable this way" She kissed his head and continued to stroke his fur. She loved being around Cheshire. He was quite the sneak but very nice. She liked him.

Chess purred, a vibrating him in his throat, rubbing his soft fur up against her as her lips came close to his head. Then they kissed the little spot between his ears and he grinned.

Alice smiled,"Your remind me of my cat back home he wasn't as nice as you, your much nicer. He'd always bite me when I tried to pet him." She kissed his head once more and then stopped petting him. She finished her tea.

Chess chuckled, grinning wider and wider it seemed, like a never ending stretch. "Deeelightful, Alice, I am brightly greatful to be thought if so highly," he purred.

Alice laughed,"Good. Wow, your smile is.....very big." She blushed slightly and picked up Chess. She set him in her lap and and tugged at his tail.

((going to bed! Sorry!))

Chess meowed loudly in protest. "I say, girl. That is my tail you are pulling on!" he said, catty.

Alice giggled,"Sorry." She kissed his head and strokes his tail. She smiled,"Better Chess?" She watched him. She really liked him...it suprised her some what. Alice blushed, her face as red as her hair.

Chess purred, his pass curling lightly in and out of her (Dress? Jeans?) as he curled himself up into her lap. Laying his chin peacfully on his hands, crossed at the ankles. "Much better dear."

Alice nodded,"Good. So, what have you been doing Cheshire?" She looked at him, curled up in her lap. His fur color seemed to stand out on her white dress. She was thinking of dying her hair to look like his fur, or at least purple.

Chess's smile was wide as he shifted to peek up at him through one bright kitty eye. "Everything, Nothing, really I'm everywhere, yet I'm very hard to find it seems. What have you been doing dear Allllice?"

Alice nodded,"You are very hard to find. I have been around. The White Queen has been teaching me how to make potions and things like that. It's quite fun!" She smiled at him. His eyes were very bright! She giggled and kissed his head again. He was just sooooo furry!

Chess shook his head slightly as him flittering off water, but the grin stuck like glue as his ears twitched back into place. He got to his feet, stretching slightly as he pawed at her dress. Then he hopped onto the ground, "Fun. Fun indeed."

Alice watched him,"Mhmm. Chess, where do go live exactly? Do you have a place you call your permananet home?" She was very curious. She stayed at The White Queens Castle.

"I live in Wonderland of course." he licked the back of his paw, his tail sweeping over the grass on the ground and he shook out his fur again. He got to all fours and padded around to stand behind her chair. Within a moment he was shifted into the form that she had asked for earlier, his human form. His hands curled around the chairs sides and he leaned over and kissed the top of her head like she had his.

Alice had meant a specific place in Wonderland. She was aboutto say something but he quickly disappeared behind her chair. Just as she was about to turn around, she felt someone kiss her head. She looked up and saw Cheshire in his human form. She smiled,"Hello." She loved how he looked human or cat.

Cheshire grinned, it was a grin that didnt quite fit on a human, giving him a strange kind of love, eyes still shinging brightly gold. He winked down at her with a chuckle, "Evening Miss." he responded.

Alice smiled,"Your so sweet." She got up and walked around her chair and hugged him. She giggled,"Your smile is just still as big as a human. So cute, just like your eyes."

"Why eyes?" Cheshire chuckled. "How elegantly strange humans are." he said as if in awe to himself. He wiggeled a bit in her grip and slipped away, cocking his head to the side. "And I'm sure my smile is as perculiar as usual."

Alice said,"It is. Your smile is very nice and shows how happy you are. Not enough people smile like that. Your eyes, they're very big and round. The gold makes them stand out. Your very....unique Cheshire." She smiled,"Yes humans are strange, but many are very dull. Not all of them are as amazing as me."

"Do many have hair as yours?" he asked as well, coming around to press his nose against it, taking in the scent with an oddened expression. "Hm."

Alice shivered,"No. They don't....my hair is different from most." She smiled.

Chess shrugged, "Normal here is diffrent there and... oh what's that saying!?" hge tapped his chin, taking a step back as his fingers wiggeled on his free hand. "The one that reffers to 'the other way around'?"

Alice shrugged,"I don't know. Sorry, love." She kissed his jerk and smiled. She blushed slightly,"Do you really like my hair?" She tugged at her white and blue hair.

Cheshire glanced up at her with puckered lips of thought. He nodded once, hmmmm-ing until a light bulb flickered upon his head. "AH! And vice versa. What a peculiar way of putting it!" he excalimed.

[Want me to change it to a girl with red hair?]

Alice laughed,"Yup. That's the one, now I remember too." She smiled and looked at the table. She got her bag and put it on her shoulder. Alice looked at Cheshire and said,"Chess...um...well..." She looked down blushing.

Cheshire's wide, triumph and curious eyes flickered up to look at her, smile still wide as his head cocked to the side in wonder of what she was to say. She didnt often blush, at least, he didnt think she did, he was a bit oblivious sometimes. "Yes, Alice?" he purred.

[Hmm. I think I'll just keep it, or find a girl with red and white hair]

Alice shook her head,"Forget it. It's not important.." She shrugged and bot her lip. She looked up at him, her face was very red. She couldn't bsludge she felt this way or looked so red!

((That would be epic hair))

"Alllice, I know you want to say something." he sang with a chuckle, grinning as he took a few steps forward to tap her nose, then link his hands behind his back.

[Yup! I'm looking right now!]

Alice giggled and wrinkled her nose,"You know me so well." She smiled and then bit her lip. She sighed,"Cheshire...I like you. Your very odd, but even odder than Hatter or The March Hare." She shrugged,"It's embarrassing and I....shouldn't have said anything."

Cheshire just kind of blinked, "Odder than the Hatter?" he chuckled, laughing as he turned away from her. The whole 'I like you' thing didnt quite hit his sense of humor, or really register like it would if he were human, not that he could help it.

Alice looked down,"I knew it was stupid." She grabbed her white gloves and put them on. She shook her head,"I should go..." She hid her tears with her hair.

(Awww, bad kitty 3:) Cheshire ran a hand through his soft hair and turned around to look at her, head tilted, grin upside down. "Allllice," he breathed. "What's wrong?"

[Olay. I like both, the first just seems better because you can see more of her face]

Alice shook her head,"Nothing. I'm fine, why would you even ask?" She slightly backed away from him. She wiped away her tears.

Chess frowned deeply, "You said I knew you well, dont tell me that wasnt a tear." his body shifted into a cat, cocking his head at her with big, inresitable eyes.

"It is a tear. Chess..." She looked at his big gold eyes,"When I said I like you, I mean as more than a friend. Like a boyfriend type. It's a human term, you probably know." She shook her head,"It's obvious you don't like me in that way." She started to leave.

[It's okay]

"Alllice," he let out an exasperated sigh and, quick on his kitty paws, went after her. "I'm half cat, I dont exactly feel love like you do, and I'm dearly sorry that this has seemed to come between us."

Alice shook her head,"Forget it! Just...forget everything I said Cheshire. It doesn't matter, apparently." She tripped over a chairleg an sighed. Her blue and white hair getting drenched in mud. She whimpered, she was wearing a white dress that was now muddy.

Chess shifted back into a human within an instant and went to help her to her feet. "Alice, this isn't any fair to me or to yourself really. I said I was sorry and I have my explination. Dear, I just dont know what to think. I've always thought--" Of you as a friend.

Alice was covered in mud. She looked at him,"You always thought of me as a friend? I know. I was hoping that would change, but of course I'm wrong." She shook her head,"Your right. It's not right to you of me, so..I'll just head home." She meant Mamoreal. The White Queen always helped her, almost as if a big sister.

Cheshire practically hissed, crossing his arms after helping her to her muddy feet. "Why are humans so stubborn?" he muttered to himself. They think much to much about love!

Alice gasped,"Your one to talk! I'm sorry if I can't control my feelings, I'm sorry if I'm in love with you!" Her eyes widened and she slapped her hand over her mouth.

Cheshire rose one eyebrow. Love, how foreign. At this point he wasnt sure exactly what to do but what he indeed did. Look up at the sky with a cocked head.
