Is there a limit on how many times you lend a kindle lendable book?

If a kindle ebook can only be loaned out once, ever, what do we do after it has been loaned out so no one else can request it? Do we remove it from our "list of available kindle books" post and from our "kindle lending" shelf?
Okay so the whole export to excel/sort thing SO did not work for me -- I have about 120ish books on my Kindle Lendable shelf and it was only showing THREE. I'm guessing because I have some on other bookshelves as well? What now????
I noticed that the bookshelves were still up where we had started listing our books. Should we continue to update those or just ignore them? I want to make sure I am doing everything correctly.

I went on a cruise and was out of pocket for over a week. When that happens is there a way to let the group know? I feel bad when someone asks to borrow a book and I don't reply right away.
If you will be away send me a message with the dates and I will do a broadcast alerting the members so everyone knows
Is it possible to set up a thread where people can ask for a specific book? I don't know about you, but I'm not crazy about going through each list to see if anyone has a specific book I'm looking for - I'll end up disappointed. So why don't they just ask if anyone has that book?
Oh cool. That'll works too! I'll list the books when I have a chance to do so - do I need to link both authors and books? :)
