The Bookworm Pledge

I can never say 'But that's not real.' Anything's possible!

I certainly remember that! Xx"
Yeah, same here. Ma will get red like Hell fire and to be honest, that look of Ma's scares the hell out of me! *shivers down her spine just thinking about it*

1. You spelled my name wrong. Its Kristi not Kristie.
2. I do remember that.
3. (oops. Guess it actually 3 things) ok

I am going to show my age here and say that ones education and school is very important, and one does not realise how important usually until you have left. For those who g..."
Its impossible to forget that!

Rimpy: I would except I sit all the way in the front so I cant exactly sneak anything in...

Lucinda: I just hate it when stuff like that happens to me.

Kristi: Dude, its Rimpy, not Ripley!
I take the bookworm pledge but you must remember I have to put school before books but I promise to read whilst I work and only do extra things like studying when forced to.

Ones study is important and however much i would love to stay within my own little fantasy world of stories and Jane Austen, i am unable to do so and have to come back to reality. I..."
It's sad. I wish I could stay wherever books may take me. It's so much more fascinating than reality!

As were mine! I thought for the longest time that my letter to Hogwarts had gotten lost in the mail and was very discouraged when I figured out that I was, in fact, a muggle, and would never be able to go to Hogwarts.
It's funny because I always believed that in the back of my wardrobe was a secret passageway so I was always confused when I tried banging at the back wall of my wardrobe wondering why the door won't open.
That also reminds me of when I started reading the rainbow magic books when I was younger and I told my cousin who is a couple months younger than me that evil human eating monsters lived in her backyard and it was hilarious because she believed it for like a whole 3 years before she actually read the book I got the idea from and then realised I was lying.

I have laways felt that my letter of aceptance to Hogwarts is lost in the post and i also feel strongly that my wardrobe is faulty, as i was unable to get to Narnia!

Haha I have had similar problems. It is unfair that I can't go to Narnia or Hogwarts!!!!

*choking on her laughter* ohmygoodness you have phone cord for the internet running up the stairs :D

*stands, puts hand on heart, and says the whole pledge*

It is NOT funny!! Yes, sadly i have a telephone cord that is wired right up the staircase and into my bedroom so that i have internet connection....stop laughing, at least it sort of wo..."

That'd be an awesome t-shirt!

"

Green is pretty awesome:) But I'd wear it if it wasn't green, as long as it had the Bookworm Pledge on it, I'd be happy:)

What a fantastic idea as i did love Booknut's shirt idea, with the bookpledge logo; brilliant! I also hope that you are feeling a little better too. :)

I am, thank you so much <3
Say it in your head,
Say it on the phone,
Or say it before bed!
Just say it the whole way through --
Say it 'cause it's true :)
The Not-So Austen Bookworm Pledge:
I solemnly swear I will read because I want to, not because I have to.
I promise to treat books with respect.
I will talk about fictional characters and fictional happenings.
I will never utter the words "But that is not real."
I will own more than 1 book.
I promise to try and buy out my local bookstore.
I will never put anything else before reading.
I will do my best to make sure that the next generation of bookworms have a deep appreciation for fine literature.
I will now go forth and pick up a book with the blessing and good wishes of my fellow bookworms. I pledge this pledge with fervour as only a bookworm can.
(Now you can crack a smile. Whilst saying the pledge you must remain upright with a stoic expression.)
Thank you for taking the pledge - now go out into the world as a fully-initiated Not-So Austen Bookworm!! <3
