I want more of them, dang it! I'd like five of Lux and Covenant. Maybe she didn't outline that well for Lux, either, lol.

At first I was SO excited to here there's going to be another book but honestly, I'm not too sure about this... I mean it's great that there's more books, but I think the Covenant should just stay as 4..but that's just my opinion.

Why?

I think it's great!

It's not like City of ... that the series was such a success that they added another book, AFTER finishing the series. It's just that the story that she wants to tell is, is bigger than 4 books.

I'd have hated it if Appolyon would be rushed just cause there is a lot to tell, but not enough pages!

Yeah, I mean I'm like 70%-it's great, 30% - too much.

I totally understand that reasoning, I wouldn't want Appolyon to be rushed, too :)

The hardest part of books being added is that you want to know what happens with the characters, so that is delayed, but if the writer feels there is more to the story than she originally knew, it's best to have more.

One of my favorite series (Fever by KMM) was always going to be five books, but I didn't think it really needed all those books after reading the whole thing. Some of it was just fluff, so I get where you are coming from. That being said, if the story insists there is more then I am all for it!

Jana really? Because even from only reading the first too I was worrying about it ONLY being 4 books because even if she started wrapping up things now I don't think it would be done in a way everyone would be happy with in 2 books. There's just too much there

I agree Kay, there are so many questions still open. I think adding an extra book will probably be a good descision.

I don't think anyone is trying to attack anyone else. It's fun to discuss opinions and everyone is entitled to their own.

Well I am super excited. I think Jennifer is going to write a perfect ending and more books for my to drool over Aiden is a brilliant thing in my book.

Me too, Kay. I also know how it feels to begin a story thinking you can do it justice in a certain number of books, but it doesn't turn out that way. What the story wants it should get. We'll all be happier that way.

Yes exactly. I think Jen will do a perfect ending and that's why she's having book 5 to make sure it has the ending it deserves.

I hate there's going to be another book, because that means I'll have to wait longer to know the ending! At least Jennifer's books come out really fast, unlike some authors that have books over a year apart from each other.

I agree! I love that Jennifer's books comes out really fast! I'll die here waiting if they were a year apart like LOTS of authors :)

Omg Jana I know. I'd die having to wait a year for each book. Jen is incredible! I dnt know how she writes so many awesome books.

Now thats funny Renee that was like one of my fav characters from that movie. I guess I really have to read the this series now that I know there will be another book.

Kay, I really don't know how Jennifer has like 7(?) books coming out every year and it still manages to be so freaking amazing!! I so wish I have her talent LOL

I know I have no idea how she does it. She's like superwoman or something. I mean how awesome is Obsidian? And she wrote it in like a week. Just wow

Yeah, and if that was the quality of a book written in a week, what would be of the book (Sentinel) which would have 'actual plotting/outlining (as she said so herself)? I am now actually excited for this lol

Yea Kate was emailing me yesterday about the tour and she said today I was itching to tell you. I was like I can keep a secret LOL
I can't believe she's featuring it in the SHP newletter, this can really get loads of bloggers involved and have this really big and show Jennifer just how much we love her.

Yes I know exactly. She has all these new books coming out so it's a cause to celebrate. She's come so far. The beginning of last year she didn't even have a book out and now look at her. We need to show her how much we love her and how much her books mean to us.

Yes Kate is a member of this group and she saw the message that I sent out and emailed me asking if she could use what I'd said there to put in the next newsletter. I actually squealed lol. She's also putting me a JLA swag package together to giveaway as well.
So exciting.
With the sign ups so far we have enough bloggers for the it to run for over a month with one blog a day

I am so excited about this. I had asked her if there was going to be more books and she said there would be news in a couple of weeks... so I figured she was going to announce another book for at least one of the series.. SO excited that it's for Covenant though! I think at the rate she's going, 5 will be the perfect amount of books for the series.. I guess we'll see how it plays out! :D
