Into the Forest discussion

I've been reading, and looking at books on trolls. Anyone read some good stories about them they would care to recommend?

So far, I've acquired Troll: A Love Story and have wish-listed The Forest of Hours , but I'm sure I've missed many.

If you don't mind YA fiction there is a troll in Holly Blacks Valiant along with humans and faeries set in New York City

I'm pretty sure that in Fairest by Gail Carson Levine, trolls play a pretty important roll.

There is D'Aulaires' Book of Trolls and The Sea of Trolls. Many Scandivan stories use trolls as well.

Don't recall much about it but know I read a couple of this series and I've always enjoyed Yolen.

And I loved Valiant- always think of it as more a Beauty and the Beast type of story.

I just read another good fairy tale re-telling with trolls:
