Here's a thought. Why was it so easy for Mortmain and Nate to lie to Charlotte and the other Shadowhunters? Is the arrogance of the Shadowhunters, in their superiority to mundanes, their Achilles heel?

I get what you mean. it is odd how quickly they believed nate and mortmain. hmmm that is an interesting point you made...

I'm not sure what you mean here. I am talking about Shadowhunters in general. They constantly discount anything to do with the Mundane world. They constantly underestimate Mortmain, thinking that because he is mundane and they are shadowhunters, he couldn't possibly be smarter than them.

Ya it was odd Mortmain could just lie so easily to Charlotte. (Btw sorry I haven't been on much; I've been so preoccupied...w/ school etc).
