Nandini is the most complex character that I have read in a novel so far. I also love Severes Snape in Harry Potter.Sahasranaman wrote: "Tamil books do count! I just got hold of a copy of Ponniyin Selvan, too many good reviews/recomendations, can't ignore them any longer."
Nice to see another Stephen King fan here! For me, the most bizarre and intriguing character will always be Julian Carax from The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

Dr.Rann in the Talkative man by R.K. Narayanan. He was weirdly bizarre and likable inspite of being a douche.

Gigglers from the 'Gigglers Treatment' by Roddy Dyle makes the cut most definitively in my opinion :)

Hannibal Letter created by Thomas Harris. I wouldn't use the word bizzare, fascinating would be a better word. I'm new to this group. Love what you are doing here. Hope to participate more.Regards
