I can't say whether Harry Potter or Twilight is better because they're just so different... I could probably write an entire essay on the compare-and-contrast things about them (maybe). Although I think I HAVE to say that nothing beats Harry Potter. It's...epic. And the hands-down best book I've ever read! Please don't hurt me! ;)
They really are different... but I honestly have to pick The Twilight series. I as I love Harry Potter... its just way too long. Its sometimes too boring because it never gets straight to the point. (SO if your a fan of Hp... well, i think you get it.)

I'd say Twilight. It might be a slightly more advanced and mature book, but it is better. The whole series of HP it's just voldemort trying to kill Harry. In Twilight, each book has a different plot built in it.

Harry Potter is pretty good....but Twilight is sooooooooooo much better!!!!!!
THERE IS NO COMPARISON BETWEEN TWILIGHT AND HARRY POTTER. ONE IS ABOUT WIZARDS AND ONE IS ABOUT VAMPIRES. THEY ARE BOTH AMAZING IN THEIR OWN WAY

I like twilight more because the characters are deeper and the plot is more 'real' than hp. Though it was good too, not nearly as good as twilight!

ive read both of them and i lik both of them but i jst lik twilight a tad bit more.

i read twilight at night when everyone else was asleep...it was hard not to make too much noise :D
yeah...with what time in the morning it was, parents wouldnt have been happy.
I totally disagree with that girl. Harry potter was much more "realist" than twilight. -sigh- Edward was too perfect for anybody and Bella had no personality what so ever. Ugh. She was too needy too dependent on Edward. Women shouldn't be like that. It's not good to depend on your boyfriend like that or anybody. She doesn't face any real struggle that doesn't include Edward. She makes to "moral" based decisions. It's sad.
Who knows, it might give you a different perspective on a series you previously dismissed.
