I really did enjoy it, but there was a tiny something missing, I can't quite put my finger on it. But I really did like it :)
I really liked it, but I think I appreciated it more because I grew up as the Internet exploded. I remember getting those AOL discs in the mail:)
i liked the premise, but Emma annoyed the ever-loving shit outta me. i remember being self-obsessed as a teen, but not to her extent...her willingness to screw with not only her life but others because she didn't like something she was seeing...
It was...alright, iT wasn't Terrible, but it wasn't the best thing since baked beans ethier, I gave it four stars, because it was enjoyable

This book just failed every expectation. It started out strong, and I was laughing at all the flashbacks to the 90s I was having. They could have done so much with this book, and instead it just fell flat on it's butt. I'm not sure why it won all the rewards. The characters should have been developed more. You got a glimpse into each of them, but not much. It felt like as soon as we got a glimpse the door was shut on us.
Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth when I finished.
I thought it was very well done, with good lessons for kids. I thought the character development was pretty good; I believed these kids. If some things were extreme it was to make the point of the story... I thought the story was solid and the writing was good. I'd consider reading more by either or both of these authors.
After reading Thirteen Reasons Why, I admired Jay Asher that made me to read his books. So I decided to read The Future of Us. This made me realized that in every action that we do in the present will also affect the future. If its meant for you just accepted it and be happy.THE FUTURE OF US - love.
nothing much happened in it for me. I felt like a lot could have been done but it ended up kind of flat.
I really wanted to like this book because I like Jay Asher and because I think the premise is awesome. BUT, it just didn't do it for me. It started out cool enough and then I lost interest. I only finished reading it because I wanted to know what was going to happen. i liked the ending and I think there were some good lessons learned, but I can't say it was my favorite.
I liked it at first, made me feel nostalgic for the '90's. But Emma got really annoying really quickly. Another thing I didn't like was the little closure, like Josh's brother, and Lindsay.
