I know I did the same thing. I had to set the book done and reread the paragraph to make sure I wasn't hullucinating or anything. That was so said.
The Hunger Games series was so cool, I read all three books in two days. :D
I'm a reading machine sometimes. I was also upset about what happened to Prim.
Yeah it was crazy how that happened. Mockingjay just made me cry a lot throughout the book since Spoiler!!!! so many people died. I was really sad when Finnick died. That just ruined my day right there.
I was so sad about that too, Mockingjay was the saddest book in the series, SPOILER! Why did Finnick and Prim have to die?!
I have no idea but that just ruined the series for me. I was unbelievably sad. Was it just me or was the Hunger Games more well written than Catching Fire and Mockingjay? That is why I gave Hunger Games 5 stars and I gave Catching Fire and Mockingjay 4 stars.
I liked Hunger Games better than Catching Fire and Mockingjay too, I guess Hunger Games was more unique than the other two, or something like that.
Yes Hunger Games was more unique. I think it is with most trilogies like the Uglies series. Uglies was the best one in the series.
Finnick <3
I really liked this series, but The Hunger Games was definatly the best. Catching Fire was pretty good, but Mockingjay was just... Meh.
I could not put the books down and devoured them. I remember getting Mockingjay on the first day it came out.
Personally, I was rather indifferent when Prim died, because I felt that she wasn't developed enough for me to really care about her.

Yeah same. Prim was like Rue in that scene which made it so emotional.

I felt so bad for Katniss when Gale left Her!!!!!

Rebecca wrote: "PEETA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was sooooooooo much better than gale, gale is worthless, she doesnt need him...he ditched her! but even at the hardest points in the book peeta pulled..."
But come on, do you really hate Gale?

i was disapointed suzzane collins didnt kill him off

Then one day, I was bored and couldn't find anything to do, I came across a copy of Hunger Games and I thought "Fine, whatever, I'll give it a try."
I read the first book like crazy and ended up finishing the series in a week.
I am now very much into dystopian YA novels. Thank you Hunger Games for making me a convert.
I liked the Hunger Games series, can't say that I liked Mockingjay oh Finnick... T.T

I can! But it would take hours............. Maybe days........... Possibly months..... SPOILER!!! DON'T YOU DARE READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THEM!!! I can't believe Finnick died, I cried for days...
IT IS NOT GALE'S FAULT!!!!! He was tortured by seeing his best friend/girl he cared deeply about go through the games not just once, but TWICE. I would go kill crazy on the capitol too!!!!! He also saw her make out with another boy on live TV, yeah, that makes you feel good.
