I haven't read the series but if you have talk about it here.

I read this series in about a month, the books were pretty good, but I didn't like them as much as Hunger Games and Harry Potter, and I also don't really get why the vampires were sparkly.

Personally, I hate the Twilight series.
Bella is a annoying, whiny, little brat, and as Stephen King once wisely said
"Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good."

I'm gonna agree with Stephen King on that one, I can probably write better than Stephanie Meyer.

Twilights pretty good but honestly, Harry Potter and Hunger Games crush it in turns of poppularity.

If you're being sarcastic then yes.m it's terrible, but if you're being serious, most people really don't like it, especially if you're a true book lover

Is Twilight worth my time?

Only if you want a lessson in how to badly write a horrible book filled with whiny, 2 dimensional characters, and wait for it..... Sparkling vampires

I tried to read it and got up to page 21 and then stopped

Twilight was probably my first venture into fantasy. I was in love with these books you guys. Don't worry, my love is not quite so strong anymore but back then these books were just OMG!
Needless to say, I've moved on.

I read all the books in 4 days, about 3 years ago, and I remember I loved them! They began my obsession with YA books.

Then I re-read them and now I still like them but I also can't stand Bella.

I know I go back and re-read them every once in awhile too! Lol!

yeh! sometimes ill read something i missed and it makes them even better. :)

I'm going to read them, I hear the writing is crappy but that doesn't mean the story is bad so I figure it's worth a shot.

Its not so much the writing, I think its more how she made Bella. It gets really really annoying to hear the story in her whiny point of view after awhile.
