Gina Holmes certainly doesn't shy away from difficult subjects! This is a wonderfully-written, uplifting story dealing with domestic abuse. A 5-star read for me, highly recommended.

I have read quite a few good ones recently~Once Upon a Flock: Life with My Soulful Chickens
Birdology: Adventures with a Pack of Hens, a Peck of Pigeons, Cantankerous Crows, Fierce Falcons, Hip Hop Parrots, Baby Hummingbirds, and One Murderously Big Living Dinosaur
The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion
and recently finished book#4 of the 16-book cozy mystery Miss Julia series, the first book is~
Miss Julia Speaks Her Mind
I loved Once Upon a Flock! I keep chickens, too, so I could completely identify. Lauren and I have become online friends through the chickens :)
Mennonite on the Edge: An Unlikely Romance is FREE on Kindle for today, CyberMonday!....I hope this gets to you on time! A relatively "clean" romance. A young Mennonite woman marries and moves to the Big City, only to wonder if she's made the right choice. A visit home proves challenging. Can she follow her dreams without compromising her happiness?
