I was flipping through my Sivananda hatha yoga book yesterday and thinking how much I adore both the descriptions of the asanas and the great photos.
Still, it would be fun to discover others like it. I'm wondering what your favorite hatha instruction books (not yoga philosophy) are. Do most of us stick with the classics, or are there good new ones people have discovered?
Hi, Meryl! I really enjoy Yoga: Mastering the Basics by Sandra Anderson. It has great pictures and sequences that is very easy for the beginner to follow. Definitely geared to the person who is new to yoga, or is looking to follow a nice, gentle sequence.
