Does anyone else find Elena annoying sometimes in the TV show? I haven't read the books so I don't know if she is annoying in those too. She just seems really scared all the time and can't decide between Stefan and Damon. (Team Stefan) I still love the TV show though!

I just read the first book and I want to to see all of the seasons so bad. I guess I'm out of luck for the show so I guess I'll have to reAd the series. :(
Yes!Funnily enough, I found her MORE irritating in the books (so if you dislike her in the tv show - I recommend NOT reading the books!) lol
Then again, she's a completely different character in the books.
Also in looks wise - if you were to swap Elena & Caroline - that's what they look like in the books!!!
Shocking, I know!
But 'Stefan's Diaires' books are actually following the tv series - if that's what you were on about in the 1st place! lol
BTW - I'm all for DELENA!
I found her incredibly annoying in the books. I couldn't even make it through the first one.As for the show, I have a hard time believing that Damon could be so attracted to her. By all accounts, he is a very worldly man and I guess I just can't see him being so into her. I see her more with Stefan, but I think they're a boring couple.
I think the Salvatore men shouldn't give her a choice. I think Damon should run off with Rebecca, Stefan should hook up with Katherine (that would be so much more interesting,) and Elena should set her sights on Elijah! That's what I'd like to see! LOL
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cried SO hard!!!! God. It's all Elena's fault. If she was never born, this wouldn't have happened.
I know I cried twice! once when I saw everyone looking at Alaric when he was gonna die. Second when Alaric actually died:( Now is a scary vampire hunter/ vampire thing.

I could NOT stop crying me and my little sis were hysterical. I can't even believe the ending to! I mean it was really intense and for a moment I really wasn't sure what Bonnie was going to do. Alaric's eyes were crazy!
I'm from the UK and we're a couple of weeks behind the US with the TV show. :(I can't believe Alaric dies!
Anyway.....Angie's right! Stefan & Elena DO make a boring couple! lol
And I just think Damon deserves to be loved.
I completely agree with you..she doesn't deserve the salvator brothers.
At times I think that she is annoying because she is stringing both of them along so that when she does make her final decision, it will hurt the other one that much more (sorry stephan... ) LOL. In case you can't tell, I'm team Damon! Anyway... Shes gonna have a long time to live with her decision on the show it looks like...

Elena in the tv show is so irritating. I'm team Delena and she just uses Damon all the time and is so whiny and dull and seriously pushy and pathetic. She's so wrapped up in trying to be the hero that she's completely blind to how much shes ruining everything. And what is with her whole "i must find Stefan" malarky. Eugh.
ughh in the 1st book she is completelly a b*tch and VERY ANNOYING. At the series the only thing that annoyes me is that she cant choose : damon or stephan.!! she acts like she is playing with them :/
well i think i would have been exzactly the same thing that elena is doing she loves both Damon and Stefan i think she can love both of them except in real life she dating Ian
She is completely annoying! I mean, I know she has been through a lot and all but come on! She's boring!
and in the book, she's even worse.
I dont get why Damon and Stefan like her from the first place..
In one episode she's kissing Damon and in the nest one she's going with Stefan to a dance..
Elena please just choose one of them or leave them both alone!
