the lesson i learned is dont judge people on what you hear about them. the reason is because gossip about people isnt always true. hannah hears a bunch of rumors about herself.
Maison wrote: "this book is inappropriate"a agree at some parts but overall i thought it was a great book
My final thoughts about the book are that it was very good and a little mature. The end was about Mr. Porter, he tried to help Hannah and she turned him away. He told her to move on. That was where he went wrong. she did move on but in the wrong direction. You could tell she was moving on because she was letting "bad stuff" happen to her. She had let go of her body so that she wasn't in control anymore.
Maison wrote: "this book is inappropriate"only at the end though because well and in the middle at the party but not a lot. I thought we were old enough to handle that. I mean most of us have seen breaking dawn right. that is way more than 13 reasons why. if you want inappropriate read breaking dawn that is inappropriate!
There are some things I really enjoyed about this book! I really liked the morals and narration. The message that got through to me was... "Don't judge someone by what you hear about them," or... "Don't treat someone by what you think you know about them." Though the morals were well done I did'n't like how the author acted as though drinking and partying is the main idea of a teenagers weekend.

The book was an excellent book about a very interesting topic. This story gives deep insight into how what you say or do can effect anyone at any given time of day. This story also shows you that you have to give everyone around you the upmost respect because sometimes your actions, even if you are joking, can change (or take) someone's life. The scariest part of this book (in my opinion) is that all of this could actually happen, even in our school.

yea i agree hahahha
IT WAS KINDA CREEPY AT SOME PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but it was a really good book! i loved it (even if it was inappropriate!) i wonder what would've happened if someone had actually talked to Hannah? would she still be alive? or would she have killed herself anyway?!!!!!!! i think Mr. Porter should have realized that something was going on with her and actually helped her!
The book thirteen reasons why was not the best book I have ever read. When I was reading I found it to be childish or at least the uses of words such as easy words like fun. But even though I did not like the way the auther wrote doesnt mean i dont like the book. When I was in the middle of the book its fine details were overwhelmingly interesting to a certain point. And the book did show creativity within the writing. But even though it could be improved i still think it was a good book and well i would only recomend it to those who ask thier parents.

Chris wrote: "Discussion 4"i think that this book was a little inappropriate for the young mind and that only kids 18 and older should be reading this book because it has a ton of adult content. i also thought that this book was a little confusing because it kept switching from clay to hannah every second or something, i think it should have switch like every once in a page or every three pages it should be switched. also i think that you have to be mature to be reading this book. Or you should not read the book at all unless someone tells you about it and your parents say its ok to be reading this book. 13 reasons why is inappropriate other than that and the characters switching around EVERY SECOND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a pretty good book other wise.

Yah i guess but the book could have been written in a different order
This was one of my favorite books. I liked it because the book was really interesting, espically the way that the author wrote it. I also thought that everything in this book could happen at our school or might actually be happening here. Everything in this book shouldn't happen in real life though. It was still really good and I think people could learn a lot from it.(I heard they were making a movie on this book and Selena Gomez was supposed to be in it. Would anybody go to see it?)

Madison wrote: "My final thoughts about the book are that it was very good and a little mature. The end was about Mr. Porter, he tried to help Hannah and she turned him away. He told her to move on. When I think about this book I think a dramatic, suspenceful, lifechanging book.I recommend this to anyone thirteen years of age and up. Because there is langauge and some adult situations in this book. But if your 13 and up I think you will find this book very likable.I mean it may sound boring but it is very exciting and it can impact your life. When I started this book I honestly thought it was going to suck, but by the end I was amazed. Also for example in thirteen reasons when he finds out the reason she killed herself because of his actions I wonder how he felt?

Nathan wrote: "Chris wrote: "Discussion 4"i think that this book was a little inappropriate for the young mind and that only kids 18 and older should be reading this book because it has a ton of adult content..."
there was only like two times where adult content was present
Janie wrote: "Maison wrote: "this book is inappropriate"a agree at some parts but overall i thought it was a great book"
i also agree that some parts were inappropriate but i loved it it was the best book it ever read i couldnt stop reading it
Maison wrote: "this book is inappropriate"way to state the obvious, maison. But in all seriousness, this was a good book but most (not everyone) can't handle the inappropriate stuff and make jokes about it
I thought this was a very good book, though sometimes it got a little to inappropriate for my imagination.I thought it had a great plot and a great srory. Just reading the summary made it sound good. This book is very sad. I would recomend this book to a mature audience, not people like me ( I make to much of a deal about it).Overall this is an amazing book, and i think you should read it.

One thing that I didn't understand was the ending. What was going on with Skye? I think the author could have told us.
Chris wrote: "The book was an excellent book about a very interesting topic. This story gives deep insight into how what you say or do can effect anyone at any given time of day. This story also shows you that y..."i agree this was an awesome book it was the best book i ever read!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess we can be rpoven wrong.
Joe wrote: "Josh wrote: "When I think about this book I think a dramatic, suspenceful, lifechanging book.I recommend this to anyone thirteen years of age and up. Because there is langauge and some adult situatio..."*proven*
Olivia wrote: "IT WAS KINDA CREEPY AT SOME PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but it was a really good book! i loved it (even if it was inappropriate!) i wonder what would've happened if someo..."I think it would have taken a lot to get Hannah to change her mind. She had 11 good (bad maybe?) reasons if you don't count Clay.
Mmoraitis17 wrote: "There are some things I really enjoyed about this book! I really liked the morals and narration. The message that got through to me was... "Don't judge someone by what you hear about them," or... "..."a agree they had a lot of lessons tht i learned!:)
