Patient 222
Hill, Chloe Dinah
May first, 2012
To think and remember clearly
1 tsp. peppermint leaf, minced
1 tsp. ginseng
1 tbsp. rosemary
1 tsp. sage
Brew into a tea and drink.
I found this one online today, and I think that it might be worth giving it to Miriam. I worry about her, as she slips farther and farther away from me, into her own little dream world, everyday. Then there are times where she is almost the same...times when she says entire sentences without reverting to song-skipping to express herself. Perhaps something like this would help with her memory loss? Perhaps it'll calm her mind? I'm not sure.
I plan to feed it to her, though I know she will not take kindly to it. I pray to Apollo for her, to Artemis to her. Apollo, god of medicine and healing, help her! Help my dear little sister, my songbird, bring her back from the recesses of her mind, back to me! I, as your Oracle, as your voice in the mortal world, beg you to! And Artemis...Artemis, goddess of young women, protect my sister! She is trapped by her insanity, take pity on her! Oh, my gods, save her.
