The series was a pretty decent trilogy. I really liked the setting the most. The futuristic feeling the whole time made my body tingle. I thought it was really cool and maybe our world may be that way.
I really liked the uglies trilogy, though I found that they deteriorated in quality as the series progressed.
I can totally believe that it is possible that in the future we could be that obsessed with beauty.

I've read it. It was an ok book. I liked SPOILER!!! how they were trying to live in orbit so they wouldn't destroy the earth.
I didn't read extras, but I didn't like her in pretties, and only a little in specials. So I'll have to say Uglies
Same here I liked Tally when she was normal. So basically Uglies. I definitely didn't like Tally in Pretties, Specials, or Extras. She was such a snob in those books.
Has anyone here read Leviathan because it's by the same author as the person who wrote Uglies? Is Uglies better than Leviathan?
I love Leviathan a lot more than Uglies. But I like Uglies. I love Scott Westerfeld's Midnighters series too. he is an amazing author.
I especially liked Specials and Extras. Uglies was cool, too, but Pretties was a bit too much like Uglies for my taste. Say what you will, I just didn't like it all that much. That's just my opinion.
I liked uglies and extras the best. The series did plunge in quality as they went on, but i really liked Extras.
It's been a while since I read this series and, to be honest, I don't remember much of it. I think Uglies was my favorite and I never finished Specials.I liked the concept of it but overall I think the series was about average.
I liked the first book but the 2nd and 3rd ones weren't as good as the first that's why I didn't read the 4th book.
I couldn't get into the first book.........
